the same issue keep on rotating few month

1) Frequent disconnection
2) complain to 100, then frequent disconnection solve
3) after frequent disconnection solved, download speed dropped, 4.3~4.5mbps to 3.4mbps
4) complain to 100, TM replied already provide 80% of the speed, my plan is 4mbps
5) lodge complaint to MCMC/CFM, download speed go back to 4.3~4.5mbps again

every few months I was doing the same rotate job, anybody here have the same experience?

Last day today, if still nobody interested I've to terminate this package by this evening. My bill cycle is on every 18th on every month. So I've to request for termination before the bill cycle date

This would be decent and cheap enough for you:

https://www.lelong.com.my/d-link-dsl-2750e-...7-01-Sale-I.htm

This would be the next step up if you want something better and could be used for Unifi Lite if you decide to upgrade in the future:

Last week, technician datang to check because I lodged a report regarding inconsistent ping for the first hop, it jumped 30ms to 50ms through Pingplotter. Restart router multiple times oso still same. My router ASUS DSL-N12E
Technician then checked with their router, ADSL-MARITIME-W3400V6 walah got 16ms
Even logged with my username and password
I wonder if they configured their router setting with something else. Ping difference just big

Take note of your ADSL mode. It can affect the latency significantly. I recommend ADSL2+ and Annex M if possible.

Well, some modem are better than others. Maybe the Asus have deeper interleave depth configured for a more stable connection.

That explain the high ping. biggrin.gif

I not sure if there are some settings can be changed on the Asus modem since I never own an Asus ADSL modem.

Nothing can fully protect your modem from lightning unfortunately.

I use a dedicated Cal-Lab lighting isolator which is rather effective but that is another additional cost.
