I guess LYG can't blame us for being skeptical. There's actually another factor for our skepticism. The distance between the Kundang interchange to Puncak Alam's is not that far. To actually build another interchange in between these 2 could be construed as "overkill" perhaps.

And most probably if BTP interchange is built, are the toll plazas going to be as Kundang's now? Or is it gonna be like most NSE's exit where the toll plazas are located AFTER exit of interchange? Kundang's toll plaza at the moment is badly planned as any traffic jam at the plaza would have an immediate spillover effect due to its very close proximity to the actual highway.
*
If you are from KL heading towards BTP using LATAR, the proposed BTP interchange would be directly after Kuang's toll booth. There is only less than 1 km from Kuang's toll booth to Puncak Alam interchange, so it would be ridiculous if they were to add another toll booth at the BTP interchange (which would be about 200-300 m from Puncak Alam exit)

If you are from Kuala Selangor direction, there is no toll booth for Puncak Alam exit at the moment, and it seems like there is no plan to do so for now. If they add toll booth for BTP exit, people would be very mad la I think hmm.gif

Since BTP interchange is not materialized right now, we can only use Puncak Alam exit as a benchmark as the two will be located very closely together.

Hi Col, we have already replied. Anyway, the signboard is put up by the turnkey contractor not us. If you are familiar with NLC, only the government authority can acquire private land using the NLC and that's why it is called ' compulsory land acquisition'. It is not about how big your connection is, the land has already been gazetted to be acquired only some technical matters to be resolved.
*
By right if the land has been gazetted, and supported by MB, things shld be fast and smooth. So i think the technical matter is related to change of selangor MB or due to the compensation to KLK? Dunno how much info u can revealed to us, thks for the info.

Dun forget lowyat had made official announcement since 1.5 years ago

Hi dino, once the Latar interchange is built, i.e if you are travelling from BTP to KL, there is no tol booth. However from KL to BTP the existing tol booth remains. That means only 1 tol booth near the interchange it will not extend to the other side of the expressway as mentioned. The plans were shown to us by the concessionaire.

Hi Col, yes we have made a commitment to have the interchange constructed. As we have said the interchange will definitely be built, no question about this. It will take about 18 months to build this interchange, so it will be quite fast once the land matter is resolved.

LYG but when i wanted to buy the garden heights PH3 the salesperson told me by end of 2015 interchange should be ready now you are saying a different story , well it might take 18 months its means if the land issue is resolved by end of the year 2015 and he have to have until 2017 for the interchange do you think it will make sense for the promise made to the buyers whereby they going to travel to work by car to KL . Please give a clear statement and at least a black and white document to the buyers for us to gain trust from LYG , example update the land issue in newspaper and the progress of the interchange.

Dear LYG,

If I'm not mistaken the 18months u've mentioned is from 7 January 2014 to 6 July 2016 i.e. target completion date as per the signboard by LLM (ngam2). What my worry is now is end of january 2015 and no physical works at site, n it is already within the 18months critical period, as mentioned by LYG.

Sorry LYG or other forumer I'm not a skeptic person but trying to juggle btw facts n figure i've compiled n observed in order to decide to buy or not acacia. I buy to stay, n travel evryday to PJ, thus understandably the Latar interconnection construction progress is very crucial decision making point for me.

Thnks for ur response.

I hope it is not solely due to LATAR delay. It can be other aspects as well.

Dear LYG,

i am one of the earliest person who booked the acacia park phase 1. due to some reason,i have cancelled my purchase and spoke to Sales agent in Bandar tasik putri sales gallery, and she process for my cancellation form. as what she promised, the refund money (rm5k) will be reimbursed latest by 1 month after my cancellation application, and now its been a month and no one call me to collect the refund money.

i have called the Lowyat account department, and the person spoke to me is Ms Tang, and she said the process might take another 2-3 weeks from today.

so i need LYG confirmation on this and when an exactly i will get the refund.

thanks and regards,
Ramadan
