Maybe because they are not aware of this problem.

You guys should drop a feedback, click the Feedback button on Mi3.

Well. Maybe coz most of the Lenovo and Xiaomi users in Msia used the app to fix the area code issue instead of reporting the problems to Lenovo and Xiaomi. doh.gif

For us still ok, we can fix it on our own. If to those elderly who is not computer literate, then pity them.

Better most of us make a feedback on this case in miui forum. hmm.gif

for Malaysia users. when the area code +6 is not added, it will cause several problem to the phone.

1) duplicate contacts in contact app.

2) some contact name not appearing in message app. instead some contact appears as phone numbers.

3) in messaging app, 1 contact will have 2 message thread. Meaning that message from same contact will not bind into 1 message thread. instead it separates into 2 message thread.

hope there will be an update to solve this issue.
Not sure if my description described most of the +6 issue. Come on guys. Lets all report this bug and make them fix it permanently for us for the next update. icon_idea.gif

During Nokia/Sony Ericsson era pass few years ago, those phones are smart enough to detect a contact with or without "+6".

So it does not matter you save the contact 01X-XXX XXX or +601X XXX XXXX.

Yes. The latest stable rom for China rom is v23. The latest stable rom for Malaysia (Global rom) is also v23. But it can only be updated via OTA.

If i'm not mistaken, you can already download V23 Global from MIUI site...

1.) Missed call LED notification bugs fixed (Previous missed call LED notification doesn't work).

2.) Weather current location bugs fixed (Previous need to manually set current location now automatic)

3.) Mi Manager Software connect bug fixed (V22 can't connect to Mi Manager Software to do reverse tethering aka share internet connection with PC.)

Guy not sure this question been asked earlier, seem i can find a answer after checking a few pages.. tongue.gif

Anyone know how to permanently delete those apps like Google+, Play Book, Play Newstand, Play Music, Play Movie, Hangout, it seem it will re install after reboot despite i had uninstalled it (After V23 firmware update).

Need step by step guide since i quite noob, don't want root solution, because want keep it ori. smile.gif
