as long u can make call & other can hear u, just ignored the dropping line issue cos every phone android got this issue.

Well. Guess we'll have to wait longer. It's worth the wait if MIUI is based on android L and launch both the firmware update together.

Surely Xiaomi will neglect 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 as both are juz patch for some security issue as mentioned by Google.

Just curious actually since most newbies or less tech savvy would prefer to know that everything is alright


Tested the preview version on my nexus 5.

the visuals are stunning, refreshing actually. but still buggy, we'll see if Xiaomi's engineers are adventurous enough since Hugo already mentioned the kernel will be released soon

kernel release = more support from xda, more mods, custom roms.

I love Nexus 5's stock ui look, which is why i installed Google Now Launcher on my mi3.

No worry. The drop call issue already fixed since v22. And yes. I am maxis user and I can verify that.

Updated to V22 and then V23, I noticed the useless Google apps came back. Even though I'm able to uninstall it, but after restart the phone, the apps reinstall back by itself.
Besides, every time I turn on the phone, Mi Cloud keep pops up in notification bar stating my SIM card hasn't' been bound. Please la, I don't use Mi Cloud. It's so annoying!

May be your mi cloud is still on? Check the setting and turn it off.

Shouldn't be. I not even sign in to Mi Cloud.

Then it's kind of spooky. Micloud should not pop up any notification unless it's turned on. I must say this problem is unique.

Sign in again your mi account. Make sure everything is off...somehow, mi doesnt work as efficient as fruit...

I'm usingGoogle Now launcher too on my Mi3, just noticed the notification bubble (from WSM Tools) doesn't work here.

yup, facing the same issue. uninstall those google apps but will appear again once you restart the phone. haih...
same with micloud. dont want to use micloud at all. but keep appearing too.

Anyone have this problem? When receive random notification the screen will hang not responsive at all..the wallpaper oso turn black at that moment..like the pic that I upload... Only way is to long press power button to force restart.. Is that a bug or anything? btw i using v23..

GPS works fine on my Mi3.

delete the update rom u installed then uninstall the apps u want then reboot.

I'm on v23 and got problem displaying Lowyat forum using chrome, some part of it doesn't come out/blank. No problem when using stock browser. Anyone else got this problem?

So ended up using firefox & dolphin more until they get it fixed
