I've use Google Launcher since few weeks ago.. u need to install Google Search & Google Now Launcher, give full permission to both apps, then go to Setting > Default app Settings > Launcher > set to Google Search. then u're good to go.

maybe u need to activate dev mode? have u?

after updated to miui 6, i noticed the buttons changed... u no longer have to long press to bring out the menu to clear running apps.. now its just a single  press. how can i set it back to long press ?

Updated to MIUI6. Scored 42k+ on Antutu! However.. there are some good thing, and some.. well, not really good thing.

This is just my opinion.

1. "Menu" key now becomes "Recent" key. Most of non-xiaomi app requires this key a lot. Some of the user might find this very convenient now, but i do hope in the future update they will give us option to choose the function.

2. Drop down notification center. I actually prefer the old control/notification center. It can display more information (mobile data usage, etc)

3. The new music player app is just horrible. You can't edit any information of a song anymore. Also, no more swipe down from homescreen.

4. Lockscreen. If you swipe right to left, the camera app will launch. It will be great if they add some indicator about it.

other than that... MIUI6 is pretty great! I enjoy the new design of the ui and every little things that they make (airplane mode icon animation, time display on top left of the screen *if your current homescreen has no clock widget*)

No charging problem? Mine takes a longer time to charge and seems battery drain much faster than v5. Also when charging, there is no charging animation on the battery,so when you using your phone you wont even know your phone is charging unless you notice the notification led.

guys, i tried to check the download at updater, but no download was found, system telling me i am running the latest version of miui.... pls help

How about turning off security? Shouldn't it work then? If it doesn't, no need to look in the security app, that's not the problem...

yes. this morning no notifiacation. after reading your post, instead of autostart, i go to permissions and found the popup notification which is not tick red colour. i tick it to green and it works.
