Honestly, it would have been better named, Good or Dud?

And it is a dud.

Getting together a bunch of 20somethings (to act as late teens) and make them play truth or dare... a deep DEEP horror story that does NOT make.

And the characters they play, the ones you care about does not get much "air time" and the one you really like you end up really not liking....

Think of it trying to be "Nightmare on Elm Street + Final Destination" = Truth Or Dare and that actually makes it sound better then it really is...

Picture quality is good

Eversince i invested more than 10K for my 40TB NAS, my 4K collection are all in softcopies.

I only make it a point to buy true 4k filmed/mastered blu-rays, but POTA trilogy for $25 is tempting although it is upscaled...

Of coz you need gigabit router for smoother transfer of all these 4K files around the house or saving huge video file you edit in your computer.




The NAS softwares are super amazing, they can torrent for you, back up for you, offer you their very own better RAID system, record your surveillance cameras, become webserver for your website, run MySQL, php etc.

You can access them remotely from your phone or in the office, play music, video, movies, tv series etc, seriously the possibility of having a NAS is endless.

I watch it from Apple TV 4K Movies iTunes which connected to my 4K HDR TV and using a very basic 2.1 bluetooth speaker.

Time to invest in AVR

Hi. Nope for the moment. I don't want neighbor complain. It is enough for me with my current setup. I already using TV speaker for at least 10 years after my previous 5.1 all in one system broken. I no longer that demand on sound. Even now I use reduce high dynamic sound in my Apple TV 4K most the time because I watch movie normally at night.

Invent a proper at least 5.1 system - nope. sound upgrade I may do is invest a 2.1 Dolby Atmos soundbar but not in my priority also.

Ze sound surrounds you.. Well more like employing various tech to trick the brain into feeling like it's in the middle of it all.. .. IMHO, after been used to a decent 5.1 DTS-HD system.. I will never go back to mere 2.1 configs..Definitely no soundbars, no matter how they spruce it up with tech lingo..it's just not the real thing. Next upgrade will be an AVR that's Dolby Atmos, TrueHD and DTS:X compatible.. Maybe even 7.1/.2 if space and budget permits..
