Elisa from ALS finally gotten back to me via email
RM300 excluding SST

still fail to match the price of Blackstone labs USA including shipping. oh well hopefully their price doesn't worsen...

or if our RM continues to diarrhea from FOREX and USD, then yeah ALS can start to be a viable option.

tips, ask for package price of 10 test( unlimited time frame) .. the price will reduce .

wanted to check something with experts here

this is the spec sheet of the engine oil I've been using in my Picanto since new (5 years+ now)

https://total-cdn-lmdb.afineo.io/ORIGINALS/....pdf?1656677049

just found out in the spec sheet recently it mentioned this

QUOTE
Long drain interval : Allows long drain intervals (30000km) thanks to an excellent resistance to oxidation.

I'm no expert in EO but I know typically fully sync oil change interval is 10k km / 6 months whichever come first, which is what I'm following as well since its set by the SC

is 30k km really possible? or is this under perfect conditions only? seems a bit extreme to me. Probably the engine oil filter would give up first

also another thing is so far i've never done 10k km within 6 months, at most is only 5 - 6k km. but still I would change the EO every 6 months.... can I change to a 12 month interval instead?

But then it still depends on the oil filter right? I think at most 15k km need to change already?

If only annually you can also ignore oil filter durability and just change along your oil change

When you say flushing with chemicals, I wont say its required. The only thing I would consider is if you have a direct injection engine, you might need to consider removing carbon build up through walnut blasting.
Chemical flush cant guarantee 100% cleaning compared to walnut blasting. Not really considered a "flush" but still considered as removing waste.

Only certain workshops offer that. Most common cars I see using the service is x70, tiguan, and cx5.
