I'm a loyal use of their financial services for more than 10 years laugh.gif

Took them a while to offer me a VS.

As for the groceries, pretty sure it applies to most usual one except for departmental stores like some part of Aeon.

I supposed you pledged FD for VS? Or you didn't eventually and got it?

Nah.

Got a huge loan with them under my name.

Decided to ask for it nicely from the person handling my case.

Since I am an existing user for their financial services, my paycheck goes through there and etc, they gave it to me in the end laugh.gif

Just in time for the M2C revision.

Good for you. smile.gif

My loan is not with them though my salary goes to them. smile.gif

Anyway, I will not pledge for FD unless it is really necessary, let's see how it goes later.

Those cards with high amount of annual fee, don't think it's a good choice to pledge FD as you only can enjoy 1 year benefit and it will trouble you when you want to cancel the card after a year because they won't waive the annual fee for you

Honestly, they ain't too fussed about giving me the VS.

It's me who is hesitant to proceed as the AF seems hefty and I don't think my spending does reach 50k P.A. for auto waiver laugh.gif

But seeing how M2C removed the 5%, might as well take it and worry about AF next year laugh.gif

But you get to enjoy it one year. Imagine if you could maximize the cash back and get RM 88 per month, one year already earned RM 1056. smile.gif
Minus the AF of RM 800, you still earn in a way. tongue.gif

you need to max every month CB only able to get the extra RM256 for a year.... not easy to get that RM256.

Additional, if you pledge FD you only enjoy the board rate which 3%+ p/a which I know not worth it as there are plenty of FD rate >4% nowdays

If I get it, I will say take first and worry later. tongue.gif

I'll ask my colleague to apply one since MBB2Cards no longer has any benefits. She is an expatriate and earns >120k per annum. I can suggest this to her. hmm.gif

3,3 for 12 months tongue.gif

0.3% for 20k is a lot!

That's 1 week worth of meal for me.

Plenty are above 4, but even if 4,3 interest rate, you only get an extra RM 200.

But if you maxed out your CB for VS, you already got RM 1056 (256 after AF 2nd year) in comparison....

Maybe get this as Petrol 5% rebate card... MBB didn't mention which MCC is entitled

For Wise card Petrol 10% cash back, i always swipe at pump, never swipe inside - if swipe inside wont get CB right?

How about this MBB VS petrol cashback? Swipe inside also can get CB or must swipe at pump outside only??

only hlb wise have the rules to swipe outside to be entitled for the cb. it's because of its high 10% cb given.
