QUOTE(chiahau @ Jul 16 2015, 04:08 PM) I'm a loyal use of their financial services for more than 10 years I supposed you pledged FD for VS? Or you didn't eventually and got it?Took them a while to offer me a VS. As for the groceries, pretty sure it applies to most usual one except for departmental stores like some part of Aeon. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 16 2015, 04:34 PM) Nah.Got a huge loan with them under my name. Decided to ask for it nicely from the person handling my case. Since I am an existing user for their financial services, my paycheck goes through there and etc, they gave it to me in the end Just in time for the M2C revision. |

My loan is not with them though my salary goes to them. Anyway, I will not pledge for FD unless it is really necessary, let's see how it goes later. |

Those cards with high amount of annual fee, don't think it's a good choice to pledge FD as you only can enjoy 1 year benefit and it will trouble you when you want to cancel the card after a year because they won't waive the annual fee for youMy loan is not with them though my salary goes to them. Anyway, I will not pledge for FD unless it is really necessary, let's see how it goes later. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 16 2015, 04:56 PM) Good for you. Honestly, they ain't too fussed about giving me the VS.My loan is not with them though my salary goes to them. Anyway, I will not pledge for FD unless it is really necessary, let's see how it goes later. It's me who is hesitant to proceed as the AF seems hefty and I don't think my spending does reach 50k P.A. for auto waiver But seeing how M2C removed the 5%, might as well take it and worry about AF next year |

Imagine if you could maximize the cash back and get RM 88 per month, one year already earned RM 1056. Minus the AF of RM 800, you still earn in a way. |

Additional, if you pledge FD you only enjoy the board rate which 3%+ p/a which I know not worth it as there are plenty of FD rate >4% nowdays This post has been edited by shiroikun: Jul 16 2015, 05:10 PM |

That's 1 week worth of meal for me. Plenty are above 4, but even if 4,3 interest rate, you only get an extra RM 200. But if you maxed out your CB for VS, you already got RM 1056 (256 after AF 2nd year) in comparison.... QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 16 2015, 05:11 PM) If I get it, I will say take first and worry later. This card so far I swipe for my parents and relative a lot. |
