It is not possible. the GST with TP can only redeem once after GST shown in online banking.

Interesting, Maybank's Terms & Conditions and Product Disclosure states RM50 GST for each Supplementary Card!? I guess the person who drafted the documents made a mistake and should be read as RM25 for each Supp Card or RM50 in total for the Supp Cards.

I don't think its a mistake... It is now RM50 for each supp card and RM100 in total.

The government increased supp cards GST from RM25/card to RM50 per card?

You should inform Maybank about this and maybe they will reward you for pointing this out

Bro, this is not the case, poweredbydiscuz simply claim RM50 per supp card.

You see, it is the government policy (read law) that each Principal credit card and charge card be imposed GST RM50 and for Supp card RM25/each.

If the government were to change this policy, firstly, the Finance Minister will present it to the Parliament during budget speech (coming in few months time) and it has to be approved by parliament.

why what Maybank told me is accurate, your current card wont be affected. only new signup (i.e. approval) from 9 July onwards will bear RM100 GST.

yep, that's what Maybank CS told me after i found out this RM100 GST in this topic.

i pray hard that their info is accurate especially for current card users.

The RM100 charges always there since the beginning just that whether the bank willing to absorb RM50 charges on AMEX or not from now onward...

On a not related note, if i'm sure everyone here will continue using as long as they can cancel their visa/mc. I sort of did wonder whether maybank will really decide that they cannot absorb the GST for amex perpetually.

so every year need to collect 25k points to offset the GST... Hmmm

They have probably met their target with these cards..testing the water

now have to spend minimum 5k per year to get that 25k tp...
