I swipe amex at shell petrol station, pump RM56+ but receive an sms RM250, it should be ok right?
*
It's normal. Petrol station charge RM200-250 as deposit when we use credit card at the pump. The correct amount will be shown in your account after process.

All online and phone transaction require CVV number for security purposes i.e. to prove that you are the card owner.

CB is not based on actual transaction time but what is reported by the merchant to the bank. E.g. if you go to Tesco and swipe on Sat 0030 and expect to get CB, you will probably be disappointed.
*
CB eligibility is based on actual transaction time, not posting time.

Or do you have experience before i.e. swipe on sat 0030 and did not get CB?

In my example, the transaction will be shown as on Friday because Tesco bunches the transactions up to their closing time, so the fact that the calendar day wasn't Friday doesn't factor to this.

Oh, that's something new to me... Probably better to avoid that timing then...

Interesting, Maybank's Terms & Conditions and Product Disclosure states RM50 GST for each Supplementary Card!? I guess the person who drafted the documents made a mistake and should be read as RM25 for each Supp Card or RM50 in total for the Supp Cards.
*
I don't think its a mistake... It is now RM50 for each supp card and RM100 in total.

The government increased supp cards GST from RM25/card to RM50 per card?

You should inform Maybank about this and maybe they will reward you for pointing this out tongue.gif

Police report = at least 1 hour of my time spent going to the police station.

1. I value my time more than that.
2. Maybank should value me more than RM50. They have my records and they have my spending patterns.

In short if Maybank doesn't value me more than RM50 then they can find another customer.
*
Serious shit may happen in future if someone stole your cards. I will get a police record for own protection if I were you.

Anyone used EzyPay via Amex card at SenQ before? Do they accept it?

Also, when we pay merchant (SenQ) via EzyPay, can we still get the 5% cash back, assuming it is on weekends? If it does, is the 5% given at lumpsum (e.g rm3k = rm50 cash back capped) or the 5% will be given divided to the period of payment (e.g 12 months, every month rm250 payment = rm12.5 cback per month)?
*
Cash back will be given in lump sum for EzyPay.

Maybe TS can add this info to first page as many have asked the same question before.
