The free 10k TP per card is worth it for zero cost to you.

are u sure..shop on weekend at these big supermarket gets you 8x TP for Petronas Visa Plat?

1) i got my mbb 2 card. applied for online banking since i don't have savings account with MBB. When i login, can only see MC, cannot see Amex... cause i applied using MC.

2) i opened a savings account after that, due to payroll reasons... then i told the bank officer  about problem 1). bank officer was very helpful, and helped me link everything for me... then login again... still cannot see my Amex card...

3) frustrated... i went to maybank AGAIN... told the bank officer my problem... she said, "from system, it's shown that your savings account, MC and AMEX are linked.

so she was helpful she suggested... i cancel my login id linked to the MC... created a brand new id linked to the debit card/savings account... PROBLEM SOLVED

Prior to my step 1, i saw the post in LYN on the problem as well, but clearly it didn't work for me...

Anyway, good luck for now.

Edit: in case you were wondering, this happened about less than 4 months ago

I was about to make payment for my credit card and I realized that there is a charges of RM 50.00 service tax for both of my cards. As far as I know, the maybank dual card only requires us to pay the service tax for one card instead of two.

I called to the CS and according to them since 9 July 2014, they have changed the terms and condition where all card holders have to pay the service tax for both of the cards. Yet I do not aware of such notice.

Are you guys aware of this?

Maybank called me just now to inform that they are still in the midst of doing a recovery to all the payments involved. Any surcharges because of this will be waived by them. They are unable to give time estimation but the latest will be early next week.

almost 4.5k... hmmm, i have the money but just feel abit reluctant to splash all on this cc debt.
