I registered my card long time ago. Actually I had forgotten how I register. But I guess would be:

1. Login Maxis
2. Manage Account
3. Edit Account Info
4. Change Credit Card no.
5. Pay method : Pay By Phone
6. Card Type Amex
7. Etc ..

Not too sure whether this is the right way or they had barred this?
Previously I had account in maxis easy pay. But I remove all card details on maxis easy pay, and register my Amex card through this way ( I assume ).

Anyway, just try your luck. As long as they capture ur credit card info, you can pay by phone. Doesn't need to go through CS. Or maxis ed change their policy or whatsoever? Good luck

I just paid by phone 2 weeks ago. Just call to 123, then follow instruction, key in amount you wish to pay, then 6 digit pin, then 4 digit security code which can found on amex card, then tada~ DONE

I just realize my 6 digit pin is my password for maxis easy pay! haha..

Do you try add amex credit card under account info?

usually need to cross midnight on the 1st cuz maybank always perform daily maintenance update during this hour. can see the cb on the 2nd (transaction listing by noon)
each card has its own cashback T&Cs and also highly dependent on your spending behavior.

i wasnt challenging the how maybank absorb the GST. i was challenging on the mechanics of new GST charges:

1) Existing cardmembers, RM50/RM25 GST charged prior to 9 July 2014. What are the GST charges for subsequent anniversaries?
2) Existing cardmembers, RM50/RM25 GST have not been charged prior to 9 July 2014. What are the upcoming GST charges and subsequent anniversaries?
3) New cardmembers on or after 9 July. New RM100/RM50 GST will be charged and subsequent anniversaries?

i also challenged maybank why they did not disclose the revision up front prior to effective cutoff date (9 July).

I think each classes have their own credit ceiling limit e.g. CIMB gold ceiling was 20k back then.

For USD, Amex may be better. It is after all AMERICAN EXPRESS 
For other currency, it is best use VISA/MASTER, as Amex will always convert the currency to USD then convert back to MYR which most of the time get lower rates.

Hi there.

I have an urgent question regarding usage of the Maybank2 Card overseas.
I'm planning to use the cards in both UK and Europe this month. Do I require to have a PIN number to use the cards at oversea merchants?

I thought that the PIN was only required to withdraw cash from ATM using Credit Cards?

Appreciate advise since I'm leaving quite soon.
