I have bought a secondhand Hypp TV box set.

I have been told that I need to redo the setting on the Hypp TV box set or else the box set will still used the last owner data.

Is this true? Can suggest how to redo the setting?

I want to ask. I start using vip10+hypp tv mega pack for rm199 since May. So I am barely 3 months into my contract.

I don't want to use hypp tv anymore. If I want to cancel, how much is my fine? And will I have to lower my package to Vip5?

Hope someone has experience to share n help me yea.

Let's say you have 1yr contract left
RM200 x 12mths = RM2400
RM150 x 12mths = RM1800 + RM500 = RM2300

So if you have more than 1yr of contract,
you downgrade to VIP5 + penalty RM500,
then you still stand to save more money.

Alternatively, you can shop for other plans.
Pay penalty and switch, see how much you save.

got question on my fixed phone line with streamyx..

currently using RM160 8Mbps (include fixed line rental with phone number)

when i subscribe to unifi, the TMNet staff told me i can remain my current  fixed line number without paying any monthly rental, on top of unifi i get one new phone number (so it is VIP5 RM149, remain current fixed line phone number, 5Mbps Unifi and one new phone number)

is that means -> after install unifi, my streamyx is terminate
my current phone line cable remain untouch (which connect to all existing house phone where people can call me through current phone number)
and for unifi new phone number, it is from BTU to dect phone
**for the above case, people calling two different number will reach different phone

OR

from BTU to dect phone, current phone number and new unifi phone number will go through same port?
**for the above case, people calling two different number will have all phones connect to the BTU ring

means i pay RM149 for unifi + unifi number and current fixed line rental, not additional RM26 on top of RM149

I can understand that calling using current fixed line will pay normal rate call if streamyx no longer there.

I stay in terrace, thats TMNet staff on phone told me i can remain the line. I wish to remain it because the number is so long will have people call in and my house have fax machine, i understand that I will pay for call for current phone number when i terminate streamyx (which include free call for RM160 package)

My family members and I did not call out, most of it just answer call I think i will remove the dect phone (unifi new number) from BTU after the contractor leave haha... because no point having new number just to get free local calls, since we are not using it...

Is the download speed for Kepong area slow compare to other area?

The speed test shows 5 MBS. The actual download speed for 700 MB took over 2 hours.

Is this normal?

Is TM still supplying new Unifi customers with the DLink DIR-615 router or have they replaced that with something else?
