for hypptv stb, you will be given upon installation by the installer.

for hypptv everywhere, u need to call unifi to activate.
the id (same as stb) and pw (diff from stb) will be forwarded to u by email.
all within a few hrs.

These are great wireless-N routers for Unifi.

I bought a RT-N12 D1 online from Lazada recently, and have been very happy with its performance.

I have read and heard bad experiences during UniFi installation and I wish to get the right guy to do the job.

Do you know of any good UniFi installer whom I am contact and register UniFi for me?

I stay in USJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Thank you!

Possible. I've been using D-Link DIR-850L (Wireless AC Dual Band) for nearly 6 months without fail. 24 x 7 being switched on. Everything is working fine (IPV6, HypTV, etc).

Before this I used Tp Link wdr4300. Changed to D-Link because it doesn't not support ipv6.

QUOTE(UnknownEntity @ Aug 9 2014, 10:32 AM)
Guys, I just upgraded my unifi to 10 due to the promo of 179 per month. The download speed is ok as I'm able to get 9.31, however the upload speed is only 3.64. I know that both download speed and upload speed contribute to the latency, so sometimes I'm facing issue while gaming whereby high ping and packet loss occur. I have lodge a report to TM and their technician came, after they had done their thing I suppose, it still gave the same upload speed. Their technician said that it is due to the building copper being old and everything that contribute to this problem and there is nothing they can do about this. Can someone validate if this is true or not? If it is true, what other option that might be able to help me? Because I don't want to pay a fee that have been promise to me and I didn't get the full speed. Thanks in advance. biggrin.gif

Hello ...

Yaaaah noting much you can do .. If the building that you are staying is too old ... ( cooper wire )

I have the same expriences with my parents house which is more then 15 years old ..condo ..

Unless you pay a contractor. To do rewiring to fiber from hub to you door steps ..
