Yes u can..Absent yourself without leave for more 4-5 days consecutive working days and they have their right to terminate your employment

without notice...Normally,the company will send you to any training (inside Malaysia or outside) and only then if u breach the contract

then,u need to pay of some amount based on the contract agreement by both parties...I'm not sure how your situation is?Did they send u to any

training? If YES ,then you need to pay all the amount of money to them if you breach the contract..If NO,then u still have a chance to reduce

the amount of money that u need to pay or if you are lucky,no need to pay the money...and yeay, it depends on the company itself..

How you will negotiate with the company...Each problem have their own solution...so be calm..and eat kit kat..Lol

first of all, why do you want to change your career path. Was in the aviation industry for one year, I know hat aircraft maintenance engineer can earn handsome amount of money, with relaxed 4 days on, 4 days off. Better to stay in the industry especially if you are a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME). If you are aiming for money, you can go to middle east. Good money there also.

been in this industry for 7 years now and still not making good money....yet cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif
why considering to change field? Money talks bro...money talks biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Received same email, I applied for BHe Brunei. Same position.
UPDATE : 9 questions, and I f***ed it up pretty badly.

Questions 1-7 were all about challenges faced etc. etc. Last 2 about why you want to work in baker hughes

I wasn't used to looking into a camera at all, I just didnt feel comfortable, ended up stuttering and using the wrong words. Guess imma continue buildin' that god damned MRT.

huii stop damning the mrt la. some of us here really need it. x kisah la how songlapness this country is, at least that mrt is coming. shakehead.gif

on another note, drilling and production is on the low, so it will be harder to get in to the job market. wont be easy to enter OnG muda mudi. mahukah nak slug it out backbreaking work, with low pay for a few years, less holiday??? and NO sight of land for weeks, no good internet and at some places no tv. if yes i have some service line within the drilling side looking for recruits.

i wonder whats the update on those candidates Baker interviewed. with the merger and all where do you stand? a few of the baker guys i know pon sudah sweating since most services baker is offering to client is also offered by halliburton.

well either way deep water is picking up a bit on the east.....dah ber minggu x nampak semenanjung ni...still in one piece ka?? cry.gif

maybe we can continue this in the PM.
Received invitation for intvw 29-oct-14, i did it on the same day. and received another email stating my status on the 20-Nov-14. The results whether I make the cut or not will be announced in December, based on the last email from BHI.

Good luck to both of us.

Of course the country needs it, but the level of songlapness is insane.

Backbreaking work, low pay and less holidays is also practiced in this MRT project, that's how songlap works.

I want to join OnG cause I want to experience the field, I have done IT, power generation, semiconductor, power distribution and construction. It's time for me to see what's OnG really about. Money not a concern, just want to experience it. So if you think I'm worth it, do kindly PM me regarding the drilling service recruitment.

Either automobile or banking. However, I highly doubt that will happen as I have already spent years in engineering, so guess I will have to go back to one of the the fields I'm most suited/passionate about.

Nope, I just want to experience as many fields/industries as I can cause I want to know how the world works, how the dots connect, how each industry compliments each other/work together.

Hi i worked in civil aircraft maintenance field and many of my friends choose to work in OnG
I would like to know if i want to apply job what job is most suitable for me?

You can try apply to company yang provide chopper services to O&G offshore platform/FSO/FPSO for example WestStar, Awan Inspirasi, MHS but these companies workshop service usually located at Kemaman, Kerteh, Kota Bahru, Miri, Bintulu and Kota Kinabalu.

Since you are related to rotating and fixing fixed rotary equipment/turbomachinery you might as well searching for contractor/service company who dealing with gas trubine application e.g Delcom, Turboservices, Solar, GE-Nuovo Pignone, Caterpillar etc too many to mention... Or contractor like UBF Maintenance, Mushtari Engineering, PFC Engineering, Serba Dinamik etc tons of contractors out there who dealing with servicing gas turbine applications be it at offshore platform or onshore downstream like Petronas Gas GPP Kerteh and Segamat, MLNG Bintulu etc

P/S - I jump ship again next year whistling.gif: last day with Petrofac would be by end of February 2015 blush.gif
