QUOTE(wolfseed @ Nov 2 2007, 10:28 AM) I'm looking for HM or HMPK, budget i'm not very sure becuz last few fish i have is ranged from RM1.50 and RM3, but that was like 15 yrs ago I'm moving into new condo and i tot i should put some fish to make it looks alive. Will plan to have more than 1 tank. Jalan Pasar, i rarely see them have a nice HM or HMPK .. many come with spoiled fins but its been sometime i did not drop by. with the rm1.50 and rm 3 budget u will never get a HM or HMPK...unless u r frens with the breeder...can get FOC i lost touch on the pricing of bettas but i reckon that a male will roughly go for rm50++?

QUOTE(wolfseed @ Nov 3 2007, 01:31 AM) LOL lousy 1 give me lah dun feed soon hock leh ... the thing is when it comes to the 'practice' of betta breeders is that alot of betta breeders rather kill their culls than give their culls away as their culls still contain the genes of a quality betta. anyway, this was wut i encountered when i was a 'practising' betta breeder

QUOTE Hi.. Im wondering what colour are these two ?? are they gold ?? sorry for the blurry.. pics took with phone camera the 1st pic looks like red/gold, if the body has purple sheen on it then it's lavender... picture quite blurry ... just guessing ..... and the 2nd one = gold... Added on November 5, 2007, 3:25 pmQUOTE got a question here, how to make their fin all open up ar, coz mine one their fin always down one if you are keeping 1 betta, try using a mirror.... if you have 2 bettas, let them flare to each other.... or they might be sick, thier fins will clamp...and some betta just won't flare no matter what u do ... Passing culls out to others actually does two things: it perpetuates the undesirable genes in the gene pool and it also perpetuates the notion that these pedigree bettas are cheap and common. Both of which they are not. Hope this clears things up for the others who haven't become betta hobbyist. This post has been edited by Jitticus: Nov 5 2007, 05:06 PM

I did went to the jinjang event ... then i went off to jalan pasar and pudu ulu, seriously u wouldn't be able to find those as good as the show grade betta. I asked Bobby for the red HM BF price and regretted until today becuz i did not buy it I'm looking forward to the next event and hopefully i can walk away with a nice betta
