no need anything...just water is good enough....if your betta died from a non-fighting situation...then their death is caused by the condition of the water or the bettas you bought were already sick and it was a matter of time before they died....very hard to say

if let say i put my betta in a deco tank, like put in those planted tank... wat should i do

coz sometimes i cant really determine them, since last time my bro got keep it, but then he told me the sex, but then i jus cant differ it...

about the sex,

1. Males have long fins.
2. Male's bodies are less wide, and more elongated.
3. Females have egg spots.
4. Males blow bubble nests.
5. Males are more colorful.

yes female bettas do fight...but they only start fighting when they only reach a certain age...
plus...most LFSs dump all the female bettas into 1 tank...so i doubt fighting is the cause of death of those bettas
