ya, i am a ct breeder .. that fish in the avatar was my first ct .. you'll need lotsa patience to keep this hobby going ...

bettas are not choosy when it comes to food ... basically they eat anything.... pellets or flakes should be eaiser for us ...

1) If he's stressed over a period of time, he'll get disease very soon ...

2) don't feed so much, it wont help to ease his stress

3) i think lights won't really stress them ..

* did you use antichlorine while changing wateR? if that doesn't help, maybe aerate the water ..

setapak area you need to go to air panas .. they have bloodworm,moina, tubifex worm..

in mandarin = "xian qiu ying" , in cantonese i think = "sui wong huen"


Erm ... the dorsal/top, anal/bottom, fins might grow new "needles" but the caudal if you cut it, the length, rays that grow will not be the same..

I discontinue the line long time ago already ... because the outcome was not convincing...

i don't have solid colour currently .. only this ...

the 1st pic looks like red/gold, if the body has purple sheen on it then it's lavender... picture quite blurry ... just guessing ..... and the 2nd one = gold...

if you are keeping 1 betta, try using a mirror....
if you have 2 bettas, let them flare to each other....

or they might be sick, thier fins will clamp...and some betta just won't flare no matter what u do ...
