normally, the betta sex is judge by the tail fin
mostly, the female betta got shorter tail not like the pictures u've been post.

female got white spot mah

it's an answer and a question, my fren told me once but need to confirm with gurus 1st, hehe...

i normally do not judge by fin, i judge through their body shape and belly (in exception for those long fins)
judging by fin, there's a lil percentage you might be wrong, especially during jarring

they just wana make a sale.. so u ask is it a female..then the fela sure YA YA its female..as long as they get u to buy it

it's a she, it has a white spot between its pelvic fin (after intensive research surfing)

from the pic view its a male..

uncle fish shop is those typical local fish shop lo..pet shop is those pet safari,pet wonderland

don't be misled by the white spot in females as it can present itself in males also but taking form of their protruding 'usus' rather than the females ovipositor tube (aka egg spot)

normally normal lfs wont sell female..
