anyone use biostar tf550 and use DDR2 -800?
i saw tf550 just let use to max ram voltage is 2.1V only...so how to do more overclock for ram

If i'm not mistaken, t550 has a jumper that let you change the voltage to 2.3v. However, you cannot adjust the voltage in BIOS. You stuck with 2.3v only. Therefore, it's a good practice for you to try to OC you ram untill 2.1v and see what is your result first. If 2.1v is not enough and there's more headroom, then 2.3v.

Anyway, I've just manage to configure my X2 3600+ rig. I use Biostar TForce4 U AM2. Haven't have time yet to seriously overclock the CPU. Just oc to 2.1G (210*10), run memtest86 for 20 minutes and complete SuperPI (sorry I didn't take the screenshot.)

I should have more time this weekend IA and I'll go deeper in OCing. Wish me luck!

i did mention about the voltage before..

as u can see the pic that i ran the stress requires 1.4v for the cpu eventough can merely achieve 2.5ghz,
i just suppy 1.8v for the ram and keep its timing tight...

i've tried superPI for 800ddr setting, i've set 1.95v, loose the timing and set to 2T CR
on the stock cpu speed.. still stable... means KVR 667 can support 800DDR and for sure the M2N-E as well..
tough ppls had a prob when using M2N-E (i've proved them wrong luckily)

but the main consent is when i set 2.4ghz for the cpu.. which i understood 1.4v would sufficient enough to
power up a cpu.. but for sure it won't.. i need to add up additional voltage to make a system bootable and stable..

the question is why need that more cpu voltage when i can remain the same voltage for the ram at 1.95v to do 800DDR?
and ofcourse can use 1.4v for 250fsb while 240fsb cannot?

i really don't understand the current architecture, how they do the calculation, memory divider affect by the cpu mul and other related things that can prove the different setting would require different voltage supplies..

other thing that make me really confused when trying to play with cpu mul and the cpu htt...
if decrease the cpu mul below 8 or htt mul below 3, the system needs more voltage on the ram...

thus for now i just can assume the memory controller adjustment will affect the whole system settings..
or anyone here can enlighten me regarding the scenarios?

currently running at tight ram timing and 667 divider coz the superPi result more better even less cpu speed..
the memory bandwidth also no big different.. tight timing rockz...

It's actually 2.2V via jumper. But you can always do the pencil mod (check hard modding section for guide)

3600+ can go 2.4g easily..
i'm also on stock heatsink..
