if TForce 6100

go to Bios

OC Navigator

Memory Clock Value or Limit, change it there..!!

For CPU/6 try go to the first page tongue.gif

For example,

CPU Default speed = 2000MHz
Ram Speed = 333.33 (DDR667)

So if u divide 2000 by 333.33, u will get 6 aite?
that means ur divider for ur RAM is CPU/6

If u oc your CPU 250x10=2500MHz
that means ur ram run at 2500/6 = 416.67MHz

Another Example

CPU Default Speed = 2000MHz
RAM Speed = 400 (DDR800)

2000/400 = 5
So, Ram divider now is CPU/5

If u oc ur CPU to 250x10 = 2500MHz
That means ur Ram run at 2500/5 = 500MHz

how cpu multi collaborate with calculations above?

i couldn't really explain, just refer to the table... those values are fixed.

When using different cpu multiplier, the divider, x (where DDR speed is CPU/x) is different. I think this is already set inside the memory controller.

in other means, x value of DDR2-800 is not the same when u use 10x compare to 9x multi

If you fried your chip, I don't think you can actually boot up your comp tongue.gif

Anyway, I got the same result as yours.. so I guess its speedfan detection problem or not compatible with our mobo..

Well, may I know how significance the HTT and NB/SB voltage in determining the am2 oc?

I not sure should I increase it or just let it like that.......
face some problem at 2.4ghz with 1.35v on 3000+

I'm doing more than 300mhz HTT with default chipset voltage

you only need to increase the chipset voltage if you find that instability with usb devices, on-board sound or 3d application.

if it's just your cpu instability, just increase vcore.

am2 3000+ orleans , asus m2n-e, haier 512MB 533 ddr2 <---wahahha im cheap, stock fan, 500w cheap psu

2.25@1.25v, 250 x 9
temp idle = 46c
full load = 51c

The only problem is cannot restart windows. Else wont boot. But if shutdown 1st then power on back ok no problem. Can go higher but need to change PSU + ram i think.

@duarnt

is called 'warmboot'.. i also some times face it when doing 250fsb..
normal for oc setup.. but still can't really understand what's the prob.. maybe voltage supply not enough.. or maybe the mobo prob..

AMD64 Orleans 3000+ | Biostar T-force 6100-am2 | 2x 512mb Apacer DDR2-667 | Stock heatsink | Enlight 420w

Struggling in some oc though....
Not able to break 2500mhz even I raise vcore and running at ddr2-533 divider.

Crash at startup....I guess onboard GPU is culprit or chipset voltage not sufficient. Will try oc later tonight.
NB cooling is pretty ok as I hang an icute fan below the CPU heatsink blowing at NB. laugh.gif

u got higher clockspeed than mine, that explains it. not because of value ram or performance ram.

by the way.... i cannot do anything right now since i don't have my graphics card. i'm online with my dad's laptop or my sis' pc. my computer is lying unused.

p/s: u lead me by 100mhz on cpu clockspeed, but yet the difference is only 0.033s brows.gif
