hello everyone

im a new with o/c but i buy 1 brisbane already and i dont know what mobo to match with this brisbane to get 3.0ghz

hope you guys can help me with this thank you

1 : msi k9n ultra
2 : biostar tforce 570u

which one is better?

hmm biostar is not bad..im using it too..some ppl like dfi too but its slightly more expensivelar..bout rm120+ more if im not wrong....with dfi u have more control over the ram voltage though..for biostar tforce 570u, its maxed out at 2.1v OR 2.4v...which is kindoff silly in my opinionlar..abit k9n ultra not sure though..

do you try to push your brisbane up to @ 3000mhz with biostar tforce 570u?

just want to make sure becouse need to buy new mobo this week.. thanks again

seram, get the biostar. It should be a better choice compared to the MSI unless u have the budget for DFI board.

all people here said that biostar is a goo mobo then i suggest u go get the biostar mobo laa rather than MSI... but abit K9N Ultra is also a good mobo...

for people using brisbane no need to worry laa.. the proc not that hot... can go to 3.0 using onli stock fan also... hehehe...
maybe using a good cooler can go a bit higher with a good tweak...

brisbane user out there... no one ever tried to go over 3.0??

-pWs- and me already reach 3ghz for brisbane rclxms.gif 3ghz is not hard to achive..but 3.2 its gona be tough tongue.gif

noctua really good for brisbane..mine idle around 36C only even on hot afternoon..load aso around 41 to 42C only plus in super silent biggrin.gif

try and tweak it and break off the 3.0ghz limit laa.. if evrybody change to brisbane soon, then 3.0 is like nothing alreadi... if someone break the barrier then at least there is something new to talk about... hehehehe...

Hasn't anyone overclocked the Winsor F3 stepping? Its supposed to be as good as brisbane, but -slightly- higher power consumption (10-20w more). And if you look at reviews of brisbane on anandtech and tom's hardware, brisbane is actually slightly slower than windsor at the same clock speed (thats why brisbanes are clocked 100MHz higher than their windsor counterparts-to make up for the slower cache).
