treason, ur vdimm is at what voltage and at which slot u put ur ram on the 570u mobo? the orange slot or green slot...

its at 2.1v and at the orange slots...from my past experience the ram slots do affect the overclockability...i dunno whether its a coincidence or if theres really a reason for that...my asus m2n-e and now my biostar also same.....

Can any sifu advise me how to overclock it higher? I see many ppl can overclock to 2.5G~2.8GB but I can only manage up to 2.3GBonly. Pls help with my MSI board.

Nice results there. I have to use around 1.425v for that. I THINK. Can't determine cause my brisby gets real hot. Need a better cooler soon.

By the way I am cooking my rams now instead. 5-5-5-12-17 at 1100mhz.

haha yeah have to prime abit to gauge the stability..hehe dun think its stable enough yet though...this morning it rebooted by itself after about 8 hours..so i pumped vcore up to 1.375...see howlar..

1100mhz sounds great though hehe whats the vdimm?

By the way PWS whats ure current vcore r?

treason which bios r u using? can u check at cpu-z the date...

any 3.0GHz result with 400 @ 3-3-3 2T result?

sure asus, will check it out for u when i get home..i did update it though recently....can u adjust ure pcie frequency in bios? coz i could not with my previous bios..

mine can adjust pcie frequency, i think urs is not the latest bios....it is so hard for me to get 300HTT stable

2.9Ghz -- 1.40 vcore
3.0Ghz -- 1.45 vcore
3.1Ghz -- 1.50 vcore

Now downclock a bit to ensure stability

pump ur vcore, raise ur FSB...
apply ram divider to make ur ram stable or pump enuf vdimm...
jz go ahead n oc...jz make sure it's not too hot XD

there are NONE who OCed until 2.8GB..its GHz actually

try to read the sticky post at OC United Thread first.
overclocking not only depends on proc but also depends on ram also

Btw going off topic la. Gonna go back home and overclock more. Seriously need a better cooler cause on my ridiculous cooler the temperature goes up to 60celcius on 1.425v. Thermaltake A2. Review unit..

just a quick question, whats the max temp for am2 x2 4200+ windsor core? and am2 x2 3600+ brisbane? before it meltsdown la lol...

close all ur background program n the sidebar as well, ur results sure will improve a bit...
