under the "Windsor" (Energy Efficient, F2 & F3, 90 nm)"...it uses less Vcore compared to normal ones...

Noob OC guide for Gigabyte S2G (not recommended for OC, lack of features)

However is it reliable? At least for someone who starting to learn in OC stuff like me sweat.gif

obviously lack of features means limitation. i would rather straight go for biostar even if i'm a noob. you just don't learn anything with a barely usable mobo.

as far as i'm concern, most Brisbane will have 'half multipliers'

and in my point of view half multiplier degrades performance since it will use a lower memory speed value

let say a 9.5x multi .... the memory controller will use memory divider table of a 9x

What I meant is that I bought this mobo last year and starting to know and learn about oc this year. If I have the current knowledge back then, I'd go for Biostar as well sweat.gif and now, just googling around for oc with this mobo and that's the result. Maybe will shift to Biostar

ya.. that's weird.. how about the mobo not support 'half multipliers'? can solve with bios update i guess..

but through calculation... can hit 3ghz without much stress on ram if using 400 divider...

320fsb x 9.5cpu mul = 3040

3040/9 = 337... 675DDR...

if 533 ram divider.. much more good for OCable ram..
3040/7 = 434..

this should be great for merely RM300 X2 cpu... prepare ur money guys.. icon_rolleyes.gif

65w = ADO3800...
35w = ADD3800...
