Hmm...... where can get the documentation that explains the differences between revisions.... Added on March 24, 2007, 5:00 pmQUOTE(zamree7 @ Mar 22 2007, 07:21 PM) ya mine is 65w version.. wor.. managed to boot at 2.83Ghz but not stable worr.. vcore oledi 1.55v.. need more burn in i think.. more vcore then more heat produce.. at 2.8Ghz full temp reach 60c worr..scared.. Biostar 570U oledi use the 8-pin connector.. Last time it was still using 4-pin connector. I believe it's the recent revision that utilizes 8-pin. And I think this version also provides 2.4Vdimm jumper. But how about the selectable voltage in BIOS.... maxed at 2.1V or 2.3V? regarding high clock with lower voltage... i believe you need to have very good cooling to maintain the temp not to exceed a certain temperature. for example, my single core can prime stable at 2.8ghz with 1.475 only if the temperature stays below 50'C. if it reaches 50'C... then prime error occurs. and of course, some good burn-in will improve overclockability as well. My Biostar Tforce570U is rev.1( refer to the box) but already use 8pin connector.. max vdimm 2.2v(set by jumper ) max vdimm in bios 2.1v

Opteron AM2, will it fit any AM2 mobo or does it need the mobo to support Opteron so? How's the performance cause I saw some using it (939), although it is a server processor

The board is I can let go my proc, mobo and gc to get this one QUOTE Biostar T-Series TA690G AM2, based on the latest AMD 690G Chipset with integrated ATI Radeon X1250 graphics. The most distinguishing feature of TA690G AM2 is the on-board graphic with maximum memory share up to 512MB. SourceThis post has been edited by afosz: Mar 25 2007, 12:59 PM

Biostar TA690G builtin gpu not very good i think.. coz it's cut pixel shader into 4 and remove vertex pipelines.. so will stress a cpu..
is there any AM2+ mobo around?
