I went into RinggitPlus and left my details and received their email saying that Citibank will contact me within 3 days to start the application.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I can be the first 100 to claim the free tablet from RinggitPlus.

Salary 4800. only been working for 2 months. will my application be approved for plat?

today call CS to waive the AF, failed.
read the forum and call again, ask for alternative.
they say can cancel the card on the spot, the AF can revert.
but I got rm 44 cash back will gone also.
so CS say, ask me use the CB card and get the rm 50. then only call them to convert to choice card, they will revert rm 195 for me. not sure they will cheat me or not.

as Currently now the minimum annual income requirement for the Platinum Card - RM60,000 or RM5000/month
(Effective 1 June 2014, All the Banks in Malaysia have their Platinum CC Income Requirement revised back to RM60k p.a)

Clear card, called to ask for waiver on gst and AF, they said no waiver now. Requested for card cancellation, and dont have to pay for both. (actually hoping that they will waive to retain me).
No they didn't care, card cancelled. Lol. There goes my buy 1 got 1 tgv on Friday

they r trying to help u get the cashback and not waste it, then change to another card w/o paying the af, at least for this time.

i believe they checked yr history and data, see u as a good customer to keep. others they may not offer the same - no offence to anyone.

all banks r under pressure to incr margins and profits and not risk too much potential bad loans or too low spending; they will trim and prune as they deem fit.

we consumers, we do the same - we trim and prune the banks too if the offers are crap.

supply and demand, the game continues - all good and healthy.

Yeah.. Probably if got good promo. Last time i applied, i got rm300 cash back.
For regular use, i found that other card gives better rewards/cashback.

i got hong leong plat card ....and my anual income more than 100k still reject

thats y i feel weird ? i apply it because its minimum requirement is ok for me but still reject... tats y i dont understand

as Sometimes Depends to Your Luck, also...

OCBC 2X
Citibank 2X
as Submit My Apps Every Year = 1 time & They also still keep on Reject ME...

At last, They have Approved ME their Cards on My 3rd & final Attempt...
p.s: Recently, MBB just given me a AMEX Charge Card Without Me Submit Any Income Documentation

Try again 3 months later or just move on to Others Card , there are many Cards which is much better than Citi Card...

Overwhelming response or just a gimmick to collect personal data?

Just now want to apply Citibank amex through the online. The person in charge call me said no cash back rm50+250 for the Amex card, just for visa and MasterCard card only. But he said have free 10,000 miles for new application.... Is it the true information that Amex new application not entitle for cash back? Very keen for cash back rather than miles...
