Called in to Citibank to waive AF & absorb GST for my Clear Card. AF could be waived without any issue but they are not willing to absorb my GST so I told them to cancel the card. 2 days later cancellation dept called me and told me same thing. So card is canceled.

Anyone submitted application for the RM 300 cash back when you spend RM 1500 within 60 days promo via e-mail before? I spoke to the CS and they say it's ok to send via email but under the T&C I only see fax and mail in option.

For the RM 300 Citibank cash back promo is cumulative amount right within 60 days. But I read the T&C, under clause 10,
"Over and above the clauses above, all Successful Applicants who makes a retail purchase of RM1500 and above within 60 days from the approval date (“Qualifying Period”) will receive a RM250 Cash Back."

QUOTE(millenniummonkey @ Jul 8 2014, 10:05 AM) is the 1st year annual fee waived (chargable upon card issuance)? only can find rm50 cashback and rm250 cashback. no mentioning of 1st year annual fee... For clear card it's free. Not too sure of others. QUOTE 1st-year Annual Fee Waiver (Just use your card 3 times within 60 days of card approval) https://www.citibank.com.my/clear/about-clear.htm

QUOTE(DarReNz @ Aug 29 2014, 04:32 PM) for citibank when they mentioned newly approved Cardmembers means how many months considered new ? 6 months or a year ? 3 months when I applied for the RM 250 cash back recently. But might be different for different promo.

QUOTE(adele123 @ Oct 14 2014, 11:48 PM) actually a bit confused and paranoid now. t&c says... When i make a retail purchase of at least rm1500... Single receipt or multiple swipe? I translated to cumulative spend cause i didnt see 'a' retail purchase. But 1.5k single receipt is... Not the norm? Multiple receipts. I also have the same doubt with you last time so I called the CS and asked.

QUOTE(rathian_mhfu @ Dec 11 2014, 09:59 PM) Another 50k on top of my existing credit limit...hahaha confusing eh? My first CL is 200k plus additional 50k increase..total now is 250k..to be exact..250,600..iam not gonna use the limit anyway..i just want to get my credit score increase.. I don't even have 10% of it on my Citibank card Btw, increasing credit limit doesn't mean that your credit score increases. My banker once told me I had too much credit exposure (because I have too many credit cards) and even tho my usage is less than 10% of all my combined credit limit, it's bad.
