So based on your mentioned is,
-fully 0w20 is for better mileage but not good on engine?
-Semi 10w40 is better for engine but not good in mileage?

Perhaps can try for Semi on next service  biggrin.gif ?

the oil if its too thin, yes likely the engine can go smoother, but the thin oil might not give you the better protection as a slickier oil ... so thin

but thats my own opinion la

there is no such comparison ...

stick to semi, if you are maintaining a 5k service interval, go full syn if you wanna go 10k

but a lot will also go full syn if they tend to rev the engine high all the time

if you want better oil, use after market ones like Liqui Moly, Torco, Mobil and much more ... go read about them

i also dont really know what to recommend ... as there are from 150 onwards for semi, in which is you use honda can get full syn edy ... or those 240 a bottle or even the ones for high rev vtec engines which cost you like 80 a litre ...

Thanks for your detail giving... notworthy.gif

Done for 10k service today, I have voucher for 25% discount for engine oil (Fully) and oil filter, so asked from the staff how much different between Semi and Fully, he told me about RM15 after the Fully oil has discount, end up go again with the Fully.

Additionally, I have told him remove all the optional item.

Bill payment is about RM200, one of the item listed is alignment & balancing, may I ask is this optional or compulsory?? hmm.gif

For that size, in peninsular i think other brand would be around 250++.

Bro, is this your first car or first car insurance renewal?

basically you can insure whatever amount you want ...

and you try not to over insure or under insure your vehicle ...

you must also take into consideration your renewal period ... for example your car is a 2010, you are renewing in 2014, for 2014's price lets say its selling average 50k in mudah - this is the amount you want to insure ... plus minus 2-3k.

now if you rewnew 2014, but say in november(end of the year) you should actually insure it based on 2015's price ... not 2014 ... as you have only 2 months usage in 2014 and 10 months in 2015... so you should deduct say another few k further ...

no point paying more when they will not compensate you that much nor should you under insure as when shit happens they will not cover you entirely ...

i called tokio marine sum insured recommended is RM68k but for etiqa is RM72k (for year 2012 honda 1.5E)
Still indecisive which to choose as etiqa have 10% rebate. any theft or loss etiqa will pay which every lower (sum insured RM72k or market price that time)

Finally decided to change my tyre today at klang Hin Leong (Kedai Papan).

Decided to try 4 pieces of XM2 185/55/r16 manufactured week 20/2014. Total cost = RM 935 balancing/alignment/new valve. CPC2 cheaper about 205/piece.

The cheapest so far since asked rawang area RM 260/piece (XM2) and RM 220/piece (CPC2).

Since honda city has USB support, and I always plug my iphone via the cable to play music and charge my phone

Can I buy a bluetooth dongle like this and plug it at the USB so I can play wirelessly from the car's audio system by connecting it to the bluetooth on my iphone rather than having it to play thru cable?

The car stereo is same from stock, never modify before, anyone have tried?

Hmm..not to sure, since I don't have an iphone. But i have something similar in mind. Using the Jabra Clipper like below

This bluetooth can charge via USB, so just plug the USB to charge, and plug the AUX to this device. Then can connect with phone. Only downside is can't use the steering control to skip track since it is still technically using AUX.

I'm thinking of replacing the HU, just because I want the Bluetooth features. Sigh

Hmm, jus wondering if you change the head unit or the dvd system or even the speakers on the car,

will it void warranty or any downside when you need to bring back the car to the service centre?

Won't void warranty as long as they didn't cut any wire as far as I know. Certain HU is plug and play so all module like the steering control should work.

Try to source the same oil Honda used when you still service with them?
