anyone have changed their tyres for E spec...Continental tyre. Was wondering whats the price like and if there are any alternatives. I only have to change 1 tyre for my 1 year old car due to bumps on the side.

Most likely I will maintain cpc2 . Clocked 42k km still have 50% tread . Satisfied with cpc 2 performance so far. Alternative is michellin xm2.

195/55/r16 Fit the stock rim? I thought need to use 50 profile for stock, unless yours is not stock rim. Haha.

Hi,

Just dropped by at this Continental tyre shop in Bukit Rahman Putra, Sg Buluh. Asked how much CPC2 and Michellin XM2 price. Was quoted RM 225 / piece (185/55/16) while XM2 RM 250. Which one is better, Continental CPC2 or Michellin XM2? Currently I'm using CPC2. Both tyre the salesman told me is ok.

Guys,

I bought my City last year June, so insurance renewal has strikes me now.
I'm under Tokio Marine insurance (I think it's covered in HIP).

Bought the car at RM86k E spec, but now after 1 year, the insurance statement shows that:
Indicative Market Value: RM79,000
Policy Sum Insured: RM88,000
Premium Payable: RM1,750

I've read somewhere that you can't claim more than your car market value, so the statement is already over insured?
The market value I think also over valued, shouldn't it be -15% off purchase price?

If I'm not mistaken, was informed that with HIP, first 3 years, Insurance will pay 100% based on policy sum insured.

Just a random question, wanting to get some feedback from HC owners.

Anyone owners using Honda's Fully Synthetic Engine Lubricant for their car?
I just serviced my car today, previously was on SL 5W40 (red); so today I decided to try out 0W-20 (green). I felt the acceleration response is much better on the (green) lubricant than the (red).

What y'all think? Thanks!

I've been using fully syn since first service (5k) since first 1k only checkup. Engine is smooth that I decided to stick to fully syn.

Finally decided to change my tyre today at klang Hin Leong (Kedai Papan).

Decided to try 4 pieces of XM2 185/55/r16 manufactured week 20/2014. Total cost = RM 935 balancing/alignment/new valve. CPC2 cheaper about 205/piece.

The cheapest so far since asked rawang area RM 260/piece (XM2) and RM 220/piece (CPC2).
