QUOTE(psycho1 @ Mar 25 2014, 11:48 PM) Can feel the steering vibrate a little cant recall if the pedal vibrate tho, but judging from the distance it takes for me to make a fullstop from 80km/h or more, i would say its not a good brake. if the ABS kick in, u must notice the vibration on ur brake pedal bcoz the vibrate is damn hard (feel like u loosing ur pedal haha).. if not then there must be something wrong.. i suggest u to test the ABS with Honda technician.. dont play play with brake.. |

QUOTE(mdnOor @ Mar 24 2014, 08:26 PM) Hi guys. Today my HC boot lock kena cucuk and already damaged. Also caused my boot cannot close anymore. I had to use musking tape to seal the boot so it can close. Luckily no things were stolen. mine once kena cucuk, someone try to steal my car (2 yrs back).. honda said around 350 to repair so i just ignore it..Anyone experienced situation like this, can you help me. I wanna ask how much it will cost if im going to repair it? I also plan not to use key hole anymore, instead just close it with plate number. Coz i rarely open the boot. Maybe install boot release later. How much is it to install boot release? use a scissor, press it hard and twist to 12/6 o'clock.. then go to to honda, ask them to disable the boot key slot by un-attach a steel rod from its position.. did this long time ago, cuz that time NHC is in car-missing top list.. |

QUOTE(fuzzy007 @ Apr 1 2014, 06:57 PM) for my case it sound only when i slap on the dashboard or driving under the sunlight, the sound that came from driver side dashboard what kind of sound? is it like a metal-to-metal sound at passenger side airbag? i have it too, but solved it at honda sc in melaka.. they dismantle the dashboard and put some sponge in between the nut..i think the dashboard sound is due to i didn't put a wax on the dashboard frequently and expose it under sunlight maybe? because my friend who is also driving city 2012 for 1 year didn't had any sound on the dashboard area he always put on a kind of wax on the dashboard everytime after he washed his car and can feel the heat is coming up from the dashboard area everytime when expose to sunlight or if your are talking bout 'duk duk duk' sound, it come from the back seat 60:40 clipper.. wrap the metal with thick tissue then put back ur seat.. so which one punya sound? QUOTE(KevII @ Apr 3 2014, 08:34 AM) It's more to plastic vibration sound instead of metal. Like something has loosen inside the dashboard. When I place my hand and give some pressure on it, the sound is gone. How exactly you told SC on this problem, and do they test drive and confirm that the sound does exist before they work on it? i bring my car over and said there is annoying sound from the dashboard.. they test drive with me in car and i point the sound to him.. luckily the sound is replicable.. About the 'duk duk' sound you are talking about on the back seat, which metal you are referring to? My car seem to have that annoying sound as well, but not all the time... Thanks in advance for ur advise for the 'duk duk' sound, metal i mentioned is as pic below.. the one in black, near to the seat belt, which hold the seat.. (ah hard to explain.. ![]() |

QUOTE(j45on @ Jul 22 2014, 02:40 PM) I don't think changing brake pad will void your warranty as warranty does not cover parts that suffers from road use. Someone please shed some light on this. changing brake pad outside wont void warranty.. pad is under wear and tear..On the other hand, does anyone know why NHC gives a hard jerk when you reach the speed of 190km/h? 190kmh is the max speed for NHC.. hence the 'jerk' you mentioned is the cut-off effect.. |

SC quoted around rm340 for front brake pad and labour around 100+. but i refuse. went to authorised honda spare part, the front brake pad cost only rm150, and labour at outside workshop rm30 if not mistaken. huhu.. |
