I don't think changing brake pad will void your warranty as warranty does not cover parts that suffers from road use. Someone please shed some light on this.

On the other hand, does anyone know why NHC gives a hard jerk when you reach the speed of 190km/h?
*
those are wear and tear la ... like that ur tire also must go back SC to change meh LOL

but Rims is all separate on this as some will blame your rim change when your VSA got issue ... this happened on civic before ...

changing brake pad outside wont void warranty.. pad is under wear and tear..

190kmh is the max speed for NHC.. hence the 'jerk' you mentioned is the cut-off effect.. biggrin.gif

For info
Last sat went for service..SC informed my brake pad only left 20% so need to change (after 4 years of usage). SC quoted around rm340 for front brake pad and labour around 100+. but i refuse.

went to authorised honda spare part, the front brake pad cost only rm150, and labour at outside workshop rm30 if not mistaken. huhu..

Just wanna ask bro, I'm sure it will work since you guys done it before. The question is by disconnecting it, what exactly it's disconnecting? Just want to be sure before my own attempt.

if i'm correct the default cable connected is actually to bypass your boot alarm
so that u don't need to unlock your car first to open up the boot

I see but I don't know why it didn't work for my City '09 E spec ohmy.gif I unplug the connector, lock my car, then open the boot with my car key, still no alarm sound. Should I check with SC? icon_question.gif

wait for about 15 second after locking the car then only try to open the boot again
city alarm takes 15 second to activate whole system, any unlocking done within this 15 second
will not activate the alarm buzzer rclxms.gif

Last Thursday did my 25K service at Global Amity Seri Kembangan and it took me nearly 3 hours just to complete as below :

-Change Oil Semi RM99.8
-Replace oil filter RM26.08
-Air filter RM73.21
-Re-fix the door trim rubber because not align with the position and suspected the "blowing strong FU FU sound" when speeding above 160 from left from door

So total cost me about RM200.85 after take out all the unnecessary engine flush plus treatment, windscreen treatment and etc

Honda really charge hefty price for air filter. Anyone here now how much Ori city filter selling outside? thanks

if you are under warranty go back to SC, but from my 4 years experience with the car - this is caused by the battery ...

the starter is known to be defective, and suppose to have a product update.

unfortunately the que is long and its not a critical problem. I already on the que for 9months now.

quick fix would be replacing new batteries.

Replaced the battery on mine and sometimes still got this same issue. Car seems reluctant to start after a short drive to the petrol pump for example.

Rarely happens so pretty hard to ask SC to check. Haih.

Mine receive a letter from Honda asking me to replace the starter motor.. They replaced it with a denso unit, added some grounding cable and replaced the car battery. Until now i nvr once experience difficulty to start the car.
