It all depends on the price of the new City, cause the differences, in terms of the spec of the old and new model, are not that much to me. So the discount given to the 2013 model looks more attractive to me.
*
Ah okay, but I totally dig the auto cruise and the back seat aircond. Haha.

Pretty sure it skidded. anyway, this is not the first time it happened so im pretty sure the brake is not good as i can be quite aggressive in driving sometimes. not sure if only mine tho. Anyway, im still a happy with my car with the overall value delivered.
*
Your brake pedal didn't vibrate? Normally when I break really hard, the pedal vibrate since ABS is doing its job.

Can feel the steering vibrate a little cant recall if the pedal vibrate tho, but judging from the distance it takes for me to make a fullstop from 80km/h or more, i would say its not a good brake.
*
I find the braking is adequate for me, just nice. Not too hard, not too soft. Not sure what car you drove before.. haha.

Btw, the new 2014 city have VSA as well, but only the top 2 variants (E and V spec I think)

Anyone done their 60k service? How much ah?

Their site says around rm490+ and for some reason even minor service now cost rm300+. I think last time only rm180+. Wtf Honda. Even more expensive than f***ing Accord.

Hi City Owner something is a must for me to share with you all and keep your wallet pregnant all the time!

I just Changed my cabin filter with OEM product and the quality is par with original & fitted nicely. In here there is a guy is selling RM25 per piece but i brought 2 free 1 promotion just only RM50 + RM6 pos laju which mean only RM18.7 per piece

[WTS]Car AirCon Dust Filter/Cabin Air Filter-Promotion-Buy 2 Free 1

Honda SC charge RM90 +++ on that !!!!! Is very pretty easy to DIY if you follow the step as below :

Steps :
******

1) Open the glove compartment
2) Insert your hand and press toward inside at both adjuster and pull down the glove compartment
3) press both arrow toward inner side and gently pull out the filter box
4) Replace with the new cabin filter & restore back the glove compartment.
5) Don't throw the Original filter just use vacuum clean it and keep because near future when u air cond malfunctioning please change it back before you send to Honda SC
*
Thanks for sharing, I just blow compressed air on mine. Haha. Damn Honda overcharging us for all this little bits.

i changed my CPC2 tyres after 4 years (100,000km). that's my first tyre change. even the tyre shop owner shocked. haha
i bought nexen n8000, size a bit bigger 195/55/r16

what i can say after 5000km is the tyre noise is considerably quieter, ride a bit comfortable since thicker sidewall, but the FC is a bit higher.
in term of grip/cornering i don't really know the difference..hehe
*
195/55/r16 Fit the stock rim? I thought need to use 50 profile for stock, unless yours is not stock rim. Haha.

Hi,

Just dropped by at this Continental tyre shop in Bukit Rahman Putra, Sg Buluh. Asked how much CPC2 and Michellin XM2 price. Was quoted RM 225 / piece (185/55/16) while XM2 RM 250. Which one is better, Continental CPC2 or Michellin XM2? Currently I'm using CPC2. Both tyre the salesman told me is ok.
*
Pretty sure XM2 better hence the price. If got budget go for XM2.

QUOTE(mobeus @ Jun 1 2014, 10:08 PM)
I am using stock rim. Can fit.  195/50/r16 can be use also, only that the overall diameter will be smaller hence u car actuall speed is slower than the odometer.
*
Okay thats new, I thought need to use 50 profile for stock rim. I may go back to using 16" next time and look for 195/55 as well. biggrin.gif

i thought they would die die insist us to change....coz can charge mar...
anyway, thanks for the info!

Just FYI, you can decline these 'value-added' services.

1. Injector cleaner (bloody expensive)
2. Cabin filter
3. Windscreen washer
4. Alignment/Balancing (if you got other outside shop that you trust, just go there)
5. Fuel treatment or any other similar crap

Every time I go I always say "remove all optional item, just do required one".

woah, thanks for the info again, never know taht cabin filter is optional one.
so the required one only engine oil ah?
*
Minor service just engine oil and oil filter, some washer or something, cost less than RM200 inc. labour charge.

Best to check on Honda site for the price before you go for the service. The price displayed is for mineral oil so if you choose to use semi or fully then have to add a bit more.

They will always add all the optional item so if the price differ by a lot, just ask them to remove any optional item. They can't force you to do it since its not part of the service requirement.

hi guys, in SC now for 20K service, SA included the compressor replacing oil and gas in the service entry, does this necessary?

any advise?
*
For aircond? Do outside lah. Ask them is that mandatory or not? Compare price with website and ask again, let them break down the price to you in details.

Anyone here change their stock player to another single din player? Very hard to find the bracket for the player since most place only have double din bracket. I don't want to use double din player.

S SPEC is also 16" right? It says so in Honda website.
*
Probably the 2014 model. Previous model S spec is 15".

Btw, can use this calculator to calculate the odometer reading.

Soundproof is quite poor I guess, if it really bother you try and do a full floor & door soundproofing? Cost about 1.5k or so I think.
