Soundproof is quite poor I guess, if it really bother you try and do a full floor & door soundproofing? Cost about 1.5k or so I think.

Maybe you can record the issue and show it to them? I did that last time for my Swift. Huhu.

Seriously nobody used an aftermarket HU here? Anyone? Hello? Haha.

Good idea bro. Thanks.

But im still curious if there is any other city owner facing the same problem.

By the way, regarding the headunit. Which gen honda city are u driving? Ive notice some installed the aftermarket with lcd touchscreen HU on the previous gen. But i still prefer the original one over the aftermarket one. Personal preferences. tongue.gif tongue.gif

2012 model, should be the same as yours.

Our stock HU does not have Bluetooth!!!. And the radio reception is crap. Haha. I listen to a lot of music and watch movie from my tablet.. so I rather use BT than having to plug the AUX cable every time.

Yeah, radio reception wasnt good, thats why i only listen to my thumb drive which i left permanently in the car so it wasnt much hassle. So far still satisfy with the original sound quality.

But hell yeah, i wish it do comes with the Bluetooh. It sucks that, even a much cheaper comes with the bluetooh.

my basic understanding for tyre size change is as long as the overall diameter is +- 3% from original tyre is ok.
someone has posted link in this forum (but malas nak search which topic) on the technical explanation on changing wheel size. i have read it but don't understand  rclxub.gif so i stick with my basic understanding on overall diameter. haha... tongue.gif

edit
Found it http://www.tuneruniversity.com/blog/2011/0...on-performance/

Thanks for the info, basically the article is suggesting select the size with the closest to factory overall wheel/tire diameter regardless of the rim size. But still not really understand after read it rclxub.gif Between I think my stock size tyre 175/65/15 damn hard to find, had been survey around few shop all don't have this size and they all suggesting me upgrade to 185 or 195 lol

QUOTE(winterwish @ Jun 20 2014, 03:22 PM)
Probably the 2014 model. Previous model S spec is 15".

Btw, can use this calculator to calculate the odometer reading.

Got no basic knowledge on about tyre and rim, any good brand suggesting? By the way is Falken a good brand? There's shop quote me RM170 for Falken 195/x/15 x forget the profile size already but kind like pretty cheap for me. One more thing would like to ask if I upgrade from the stock 15" rim 175/65/15 to like full spec 16" rim 185/55/16 will it be significant in lack of power maybe like slow in acceleration compare with before? Anyone upgrade before?

You'll get tired with the Thumbdrive someday, and sometimes you just want to listen to some good old radio station but the reception is so bad you'll switch back to Thumbdrive. Heck I rather stream the radio online from my phone.

Can't really comment on the tire, but I've heard Michelin xm2 and Continental cc2 is pretty good. I'm using Bridgestone eco-something now. Not too bad. Cost about rm210/piece for a 195/55/15.

Upgrading to 16" shouldn't effect the pick up much I think. Spec E city already came with 16" and I downgrade to 15". Doesn't feel like the car got more pickup.

How about any significant improvement on stability if I upgrade? I like the 16" stock rim on full Honda City but if don't have any improvement after changing it then might stop thinking about the upgrade already sad.gif

I don't think got any improvement on stability, but if you go for wider tire (205 or 195), then it will increase the car stability.

You car not stable on high speed?

That should work well, the stock tire is too thin and above 90km/h already feel like sampan.

Can anyone here tell me what are the disadvantage of getting just the Hi-Lo adjustable rather than the Hi-Lo / Soft-Hard? Generally the Hi-Lo / Soft-Hard cost a lot more but is it a must have? My preferred setup is basically for a stiffer ride and better handling. There's a shop that's giving me a good deal for HWL Hi-Lo but because of the Soft-Hard feature available, it's pretty much leaving me confused between the two. What adjustable brands are widely used for the City? Are the GAB, HWL any good?

Sorry if I post this in the wrong place but I own the 2012 City. So I thought it's relevant lol smile.gif
