Nehhh. Bcos felt weird, engine so new,  what for put in engine cleaner and treatment?  hmm.gif
Another thing i wanna ask, my mileage was 5199 when i serviced, so is my next service at 10199km or must stick to 10k km also?

Attached is the service sticker the SA wrote that made me confused  rclxub.gif [attachmentid=3865558]
*
if add 5k shud be 10199 lah
but i think depends on SC
once i sent for service the mileage is just a tad bit over 90k..for the next service they just put 95k
previously they just add 5k

Anyone experiencing air-conditioning problem? Gotten my new City early this year, done about 2500km as of today.

Apparently, the air-conditioning takes some time to cool down with the cool air blowing into the cabin. Whenever the car is stationary, it's blowing out warm air (although the temperature dial is at 70% max & at 3rd speed of air). But whenever I accelerate, it produced cool air for a while.
It takes a good 10-15 minutes to actually blow cool air out.

Is this the A/C issue or is just that most Honda City compressors are function that way?

Thanks!
-W

If the car is blowing out warm air whenever the car is stationary, i think there's problem with your A/C

Need opinion on changing tyre size (just the width and profile). Stock is 185/55/16. Which size is better?
1. 195/55/16
2. 195/50/16
3. 205/50/16

All are under acceptable range (+-3%)
Need to change tyre soon. Thanks in advance.

i thought nexen is more economic brand? coz recently my fren change 18" nexen tyre he said cheaper than michelin and others.

btw, i changed XM2 at the same price as nexen, including alignment and balancing summore.
*
the shop says nexen is cheaper for larger size rims (17" and above) as many people use.
michelin xm2 185/55/16 IINM they quote 280
yoko a drive r1 195/50/16 IINM they quote 275

The price for yoko is C drive 2 or drive R1?

I remembered C drive 2 should be around the price, right?

Just add in: Conti CPC2 should be around RM250 as previous forumer reported
*
i am pretty sure it's for adrive r1. i didn't ask for Cdrive 2.

Hi guys. Today my HC boot lock kena cucuk and already damaged. Also caused my boot cannot close anymore. I had to use musking tape to seal the boot so it can close. Luckily no things were stolen.

Anyone experienced situation like this, can you help me.
I wanna ask how much it will cost if im going to repair it?
I also plan not to use key hole anymore, instead just close it with plate number. Coz i rarely open the boot.

Maybe install boot release later. How much is it to install boot release?
*
my HC boot lock pun kena umpil. luckily my boot still can be closed, only that cannot open using key, has to use the trunk release in the driver seat.

i've asked SC how much to replace, about rm300

or

you can try PM hingan , he sells honda spare part

Yup honda will replace with new. Sent to peringgit due to accident 3.5 years back. But i guess the paint job on my car front bumper is not good enough since it is now badly chipped. Huhu.

Oh..a day after i took my car, need to send it back because the radiator hose became loose. Huhu

1) for it aircond led; cost for led is cheap but workmanship is expensive.. need to dismantle the radio area.. (read somewhere in this forum)
2) small headlamp; look for T10 bulb or led.. very easy to change urself.. if not sure, acc shop i think change it for free..

Hey guys,

For the pic above, the car is Honda City 5G?

I'm confused cos some people call that model GM?

I dunno which model is my car under. LOL.
*
Correct me if i'm wrong. As far as i know, HC from year 2009 to 2013 is 5G or in Malaysia is 3G.
I am not sure about the GM

Yup about right. Ok lets do some sharing on the City history line.

First generation (1981–1986) City AA/FV/FA
This generation of City looks very similar to a Kancil. And the chasis codes detonates it as sedans AA. vans FV and cabriolet FA. Not officially sold in Malaysia

Second generation (1986–1994) City GA1/GA2
Second generation where only 3door hatchbacks are available which GA1 is pre FL and GA2 as FL. Not officially sold in Malaysia
It is after this generation Honda Fit was born as a seperate line from City.

Third generation (1996–2002) City SX8
Codenamed as SX8 but chassis model is officially called as 3A2(1.3cc)/3A3(1.5cc) which is based on EK civic platform. First official Honda City sold in Malaysia. Later facelifts called this city as Honda City Type-Z. Malaysians would call this as Malaysia 1G

Fourth generation (2002–2008) City GD8/GD9
The most famous generation of City in Malaysia i would say which is based on the Honda Jazz GD1/GD2. With Facelifted on 2005 which was commonly called as City ZX. Malaysians would call this as Malaysia 2G

Fifth generation (2008–2013) City GM2/GM3
The 5-speed City which replaced the City ZX as we can see on the roads now. GM2 is 1.5 and GM3 is 1.8 which China Honda City gets. Malaysians would call this as Malaysia 3G

Sixth generation (2014-present) City
The newly launched City

Hope this will clear some confusion though.

dumb question, stock S rim, can it fit 195/55/15 or 195/50/15?
*
stock size is 175/65/15 kan?
(not expert, baru2 belajar tyre size calculator ni) according to +-3% changes in diameter guide, 195/55/15 give -2.13% (13mm) difference which is ok
195/50/15 give -5.42% difference which is not recommended based on the guide

but, i don't know the max width stock 15" rim can take. for E stock 16" rim, it can take up to 205 size

i think you better go with 60 series

hope other sifus can help you better
