I want store all my DVD into my NAS. Can I just copy paste the whole DVD into 1 folder? XBMC can detect it? Or what software use to rip? I try to rip into MKV but the quality was bad compare to I play the dvd from dvd player.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't simply copy and paste the files off the dvd into a folder and xbmc scrapes it. What software did you use earlier to rip? Best you use software like Handbrake or MKV Merge. Rip settings set to high bitrates. Should turn out decent. |

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Aug 25 2014, 10:14 PM) yes, the mibox pro, I tried to switch the video acceleration to software decoding. I was able to watch youtube (video + audio) nut after I installed fusion and Mash up even with software acceleration on I lost all streaming video (including youtube) except audio. Shall I wait for the "Kodi" version? |

The mibox, for the lack of a better word, sucks. For hardware acceleration, u have to leave the "middle" option turned on. Even with that, only 20% of my mkv files play. The rest will just cause the mibox to reboot. If you turn off hardware acceleration, the movie stutters and the audio/video gets out of sync. Just for comparison sake, the same mkv files plays flawlessly without a hitch on the Minix Neo X8-H. Just looking at the mibox makes me wanna smash it against the wall.

See & read on from MK84's post. Watch the video below to see his updated video showing Astro B.yond HD on XBMC. Guessing it's a matter of replicating the steps but for Hypptv instead. It involves extra hardware and some really hands on implementation to achieve. Good luck. |

You can get one nice mkv file with NO quality difference from the DVD you have, and also throw away the trailers from the DVD. I've done it before and it doesnt take long too since its not encoding. |

Hmmm... is it possible to launch external program from XBMC? Since HyppTV has an Android app, it's just the case of launching the Android app in BlueStacks and then mapping the controls to the remote.

Usually it's under Programs. Some skins allow you to customise and add them to different groups, usually as Favourites. |
