these 2 r the most reliable. the rest, i dun even bother.

but i think his problem is not link or broadband speed or ethernet/wifi but some incompatibility or firewall on his pc.
i hv same problem on pc, but not with android. with android, i get hd smoothly with xbmc on both ethernet and wifi.

i use MXplayer as my player.

Both movies already available sometimes ago in XBMC, tell me if you can watch them on Netflix?

both of which still don't have a BD release for them.
there's no mkv, no bdrip, no 720p, no 1080p for them.

if you don't mind the quality then sure you can watch them before the bd is released. some don't mind, some do.

i m trying kissanime addon, but i got emply link whenever i choose anime...can anyone manage to get kissanime work?

on my android, kissanime works very well on 13.1 gotham, just watched shippuuden 372 on 1920x1080 mp4.
however, there were issues with 12.3 for kissanime and a couple other addons/plugins.

on pc, 13.1 gotham, it did not work before. i just tried... this time, had 3 prompts/messages: 1) yr firewall is preventing... do u want...? and 2) yr pc resourses are low, do u want to set resolution to...? and 3) kissanime: script failed, empty link list. yes to 1) n 2), kissanime back to life, incl 1920x1080 mp4. will check the other addons later.

like my old pc, likely yr pc resources too low - try to set to lower monitor resolution, check yr firewalls if too strict.

I was using tvbox. No 'c' for me. I try all key on remote also no option for me set the player.

Use hardware decoding but try disabling "Allow hardware (MediaCodec)". As for pressing "C", u need a wireless/Bluetooth keyboard for that. Pressing it will bring up the contextual menu.

After follow yours step, now I can watch without lag already.

I had setup MySQL for all my device. But at the moment I use SMB to share the file. Which sharing protocol you all using? SMB not able to access my data when I am outside of my network. I wish can access my data even I am outside of the network.

I don't know what happen on my SMB connection. Sometimes it will disconnect and not able to see the PC but some other device was ok. It was like randomly appear at randomly device.

I think if your hd is connected the directly to the box, the only way to use XBMC as a media server is by Upnp.

However, streaming to other device might have some issues with subtitles as they are stil trying to sort it out..

I was hosting my media on windows 7. Then all my tvbox was connect to the sql and media in the windows 7. And my portable device was connected to the windows 7 with external ip ftp.
But in home was using smb sometime the connection was lost.

Use NFS, I find it much more stable on Win7 media servers.

btw since disable the hardware accelaration (mediacodec) will solve 1080 video problem, guess editing the playercorefactory.xml is not necessary for now.

bro any hk drama addon work at xbmc i got a azzdrama but the quality is very not nice ,,,

i think azdrama is the only known one for xbmc. there is nothing more.

generally, there is little chinese-japanese-korean stuff via xbmc.

hk dramas n movies in cantonese, i can only think of paid iptv like cloudtv, monster pro, etc.

mandarin ones, there is a lot available live or on demand but only works with the particular device as the apps are in the firmware.
