oic, AA was 67.5k miles one-way between US and Asia in F.. next year going up to 110k per way..
no wonder all those AA customer make noise..

(previously i was looking only at business class, that was not much different)
*
Don't think member of AA are in the position to make noise. Look at their earn tier bonus, redemption chart as well as their redemption inventories... It is time to line them up with one world.
It's time to put a stop to those DYKWIA. Lol

Go Emerald and you will prefer Golden Lounge first side.

Bro, I am not as rich as you. I haven't got the opportunity to access to their first class golden lounge.

100,000 Elite Miles or 130 Elite Sector to get Enrich Platinum is simply too out of reach biggrin.gif

yes, got my OW status with MH. CX allows you to bring a guest as well as long as they are also flying on a OW Carrier (doesn't have to be the same flight).

If I have time/feeling bored, I'll usually lounge hop between MH Regional (just skip the MH Lounge at Satellite) , CX and PPL

Yes, that's my understanding too. Last week I tried to access CX/QR/JL/QF lounge (operated by JAS Premier Lounge) in Jakarta with my Enrich Gold but was told that they are not collaborating with MH, ended up in Pura Indah Lounge again vmad.gif

3rd party lounges only let you in if you have an invitation card smile.gif

if flying OW at CGK, still prefer the coffee shop opposite Pura Indah (just at the end of travellator to departure gates). one of the best coffees in Indonesia thumbup.gif

Fact of the matter is, most people today earn their miles through credit card spend and not actual flying. Sure it would be nice to have elite status and get sucked up to by the pretty FAs but flying on award tickets most of the time earns us nothing. Still, so long as we get lounge access with the J and F awards, nothing much to complain about really. Would be nice to have those fancy baggage tags though I suppose. biggrin.gif

True, for frequent flyer, lounge is really needed for work and rest. Try to imagine you hv to work whenever you hv time in between. Nothing glamorous as frequent flyer honestly. And I never use any baggage tag. smile.gif

One trick for MH redemption tho. Z fares earn you status on CX... Redeem Z fares and change FFP by phone to MPO.

Thanks for the trick, bro. Just to reconfirm, we should contact MH or CX to change the FFP?

The good/ bad thing about MH is their inconsistency, my friend redeemed a Business Class ticket with EM and they still credit EM into her account despite it's a reward ticket. As a result, she got upgraded immediately to Enrich Silver smile.gif

Currently having dinner at KLIA2 Green Market using the maybank 2 card premier. Excellent salad and katsu don.

I tried to ask the staff which other card can enter and how many times per year allowed, she wasn't very sure.

Anybody knows does usage of Green Market comes from our annual allocation of entry to Plaza Premium Lounge ?

My brother has been a frequent flyer for decades, working for a US MNC. His schedule and life in general is a living hell to me so ya, I rather earn my miles with my credit cards, feet firmly on the ground.

Thanks for the MH redemption trick, though I don't see myself flying MH (international that is) for quite some time.

Hi, it should be D class. A, or D class redemption will work.

F, A, J, C, D, Z, I, ...... are fare class. Only specific fare class are eligible to accrued miles.

CX = Cathay Pacific
FFP = Frequent Flyer Program
MPO = Marco Polo
