macro key really very useful fully utilize it n it will bring joy to us

I got tons of keyboards at home, all with those multimedia function and bla bla stuff.
Even my notebook got shortkeys but I use them like less than 10 times after 4 years.

Too bad it doesn't work quite well with my Laptop (Xp Pro) zzz. But with my bro's desktop (Xp Home) it works perfectly.

Just installed the ray's winamp plugin and play around with it. Fun stuff, but completely useless (when the lights are off, you cant see the letters heh!).

But the keys are so small and odd o_O. The keyboard is huge so why not they just expand the keys huh? Anyways I hate the G keys (I often pressed G16 keys by mistake because I wanted to press CTRL LoL).


Lastly, nice keyboard and worth the money. But a bit dissapointed that it didn't work on my laptop ("). Also the shortcut near the LCD (Play, back/forward track and stop doesn't work with winamp but works in WMP?).

Edit: Bought from modernopc[dot]com for RM285, COD with no problem at all. Thanks mate ^^;

Go to WinAmp preference..
Preferences > Global Hotkeys. Enabled it and hit the Restore Defaults.

it's not the keyboard prob.. it's winamp setting.. i believe other keyboard also can try...

ALT+F4 i'm using on windows not while gaming... quite usefull to close windows pane easily.. even to shutdown pc..

i thought there are 3 programmable button to choose.. M1,M2,M3... so use M2 for gaming then...

I just found out I cannot use my Logitech G15 to access BIOS, have to use back my old PS2 keyboard.

sigh.

want ask.. where got sell 2nd hand saitek eclipse or 2nd hand reclusa ah? this 2 keyboard very tempting.. but no one selling it yet and i not enough money for a new 1 .><

lolz, i also wanted to buy but way out of budget.... I feel reclusa keys not very responsive le, normal keyboard feel better, the plus is it has a non slip surface.

as long my NEC keyboard can hit 7 keys simultaneously, i don't think i'll be needed another gaming keyboard

I have a question for all you G15 and Tarantula owners.....
I'm planning to buy either a G15 or a Tarantula but I don't game THAT often..... and even if I do, I'll use my Nostromo n52 for my gaming needs.... However.... I do work with alot of copy work and always need a solid keyboard.

I like the functionality of the G15's LCD.... but I'm also VERY partial to the tarantula's design.... that and the fact that I'm quite the Razer fan....2 Razer mouses, Mantis Speedmat and Razer Earphones .....

But probably the key deciding factor? The lights......

I need to be able to turn off the lights completely as the keyboard will be placed in my bedroom and when I sleep at night..... the last thing I need is a bright blue light shining....... I even have to turn off my Razer DeathAdder's lights before I go to bed........

So my question is, can both keyboards turn off their lights? Thanks in advance for answering my VERY long winded question......

G15's lights can be turn off completely... 3 settings for the button.. very dim light, brighter and off.....
for tarantula, there isn't any backlight except the macro keys. (correct me if i'm wrong). U'll nid an accessory called battledock(correct me if i'm wrong again) to light up the keyboard. =)

Can the lights be configured via a macro?

i've been a long time razer fan.
but am not getting the tarantula, mainly cos it has BLUE lights.
same reason why i didnt get the razer headset, instead opted for steelsound.
i do have razer earphones tho for my handphone

razer are slowly seeing the (green) light again now, thankfully.
tho i doubt a GREEN light tarantula will ever come out, at least the boomslang CE is green

I'm not concerned about the lights (more like lack of), but I AM concern about typing..... I read some reviews that say the G15 is pretty good at typing, but Razer is VERY good at it because of the anti-ghosting thing...... can anyone confirm this?

I thought of the Razer Pro|Solutions Pro|Type keyboard, but if you see the condition of my what was once keyboard...... you can see why I want something in a dark color......

the keyboard has been brought to my home as i didnt find it suitable for my work so no point of it being in the office.. havent tested with much gaming yet though.
