QUOTE(SpikeTwo @ Jul 12 2007, 10:38 AM) keyboard slider is always uncomfortable. lol...well, at least from those that i've seen. I recommend? G15. yeah, tons of complains and such. but so far, I find logitech support much better and havent heard of any major issues on the G15 other than the color thingy. thanx for the info. So what is about the color thingy? I thot new model dont have that. Im thinking g15 for now. Tarantula sucks with no backlight. I know about the Prototype but white doesnt fit my workstation plus i bet it doesnt have backlight. And i dont think it docks iPhone unless iPhone is using the same port as nano or iPod video. In fact, slider wont let i dock anything.same goes for other products, they will have loads of complains. Head over to razerblueprints.net or microsoft hardware forums, you will know what i mean. hehe... btw, list updated. so SpikeTwo or anyone else, what do u guys suggest? I would like both bias and non-bias comment. It is not wrong to comment based on own experience or belief but i do appreciate non-bias comments as everything, i mean everything has pro and cons. Just which pros and cons fit more in our life or lifestyle. peace. |

Any moshi's fan here?
![]() Picture origin from floppy vr-zone/lyn. Well this is certainly not intend for the gaming community but heck, this one is very sexy looking. The main body build with cast aluminum (heavy mofo), using scissors key mechanism, the same type which commonly used in laptop. As usual, sexy stuff comes with hefty price tag. |

QUOTE(eusioxn @ Jul 14 2007, 11:19 PM) That's how rich people roll bebeh, CAN j00 DIG IT?! Hahaha seriously, it's build for style, not function. With the whooping pricetag, it's for the rich and famous (or people who have that much money Personally, i'd prefer a keyboard with tons of function rather than just "looking good". I mean.. sure it looks good, anything else? Well.. I would expect some media shortcuts or programmable key (or something dammit =P) for that particular price or else it won't worth it in my book. Again! Just my 2 cents, form over functionality is my preference. Review of the Moshi Celestra This post has been edited by ahpek26: Jul 15 2007, 12:48 AM |

Enermax Aurora keyboard. Half the price Moshi's keyboard.
Basically the same aluminum and scissors mechanism. Pretty sleek. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/enerma...board/index.htm |

Dude this is so0o0 not the thread for "generic" keyboard hehe.
Enermax Aurora keyboard has several function. But I think the main purpose is the styling of the keyboard. Audio and microphone extension are nice, but I think that it is quiet common these days. Even though it does have 2 USB hubs, but again, a normal USB hubs is REALLY cheap (2 more hubs too, For a mere.. RM39 LoL). No backlighting, just some really expensive keys and overall as a keyboard. Again, not very functional, just for aesthetics. Quote from DriverHeaven[Dot]net "The difference after you have taken a day or so to adjust from your existing keyboard is staggering and I measured my typing to be 25% faster on the Enermax Aurora than an existing Logitech model." Bullcrap. Don't believe in these sort of marketing. It's really the end-user's personal preference. Some people do not like flat laptop-like keyboard. Some love the old and bulky keyboard (I like those, easy to type on =p). Fact is, it requires skill to type faster, not hardware. Well, it may not be true. However there are cheaper alternatives out there which can do the same thing (well, minus the pretty cuttings). ahpek26,
great point there. There are time which keyboard response time is crucial. Probably not during typing but during some serious gaming, it does matter some of ppl. As im no pro gamers or such, I dont care if i die bcoz of keyboard lagginess. Who give a crap bout that? Some pros or kiasu-amateurs do at least. ps: I myself on bluetooth keyboard. It does lag sometimes and lag during those "crucial" in-game time. Heck I never complain bout it and i opting for better keyboard now just for reserved so if my clan needs me for serious matters like tourney or scrims, I wont be the reason that our team lost. it is more like want it or not I need it eventually. Might get it now. I can use 3 keyboard (the laptop, bluetooth and the one im going to buy) at a time so who give a crap rite? as long as im comfy with it. This bluetooth keyboard could be a remote keyboard for movie viewing and such while the future keyboard will be for serious matters. |

So many low profile keys keyboard.
I hate low profile keys for gaming although I'm using my notebook to game xD. If my desk is deep enough sure connect to a full size keyboard. |
