a new Logitech g15 kb user after after the model coming out for 2 years.

I have a few question:

1)is the new batch one, the backlight is abit dimmer?
2)how to use the next button on the keyboard without clicking the mp3 player? I find it abit annoying to click the mp3 player to use the forward or next button on the kb.

2. what mp3 player you using? I have no problem with WMP

Logitech G15 ftw!
Cost less than tarantula, has more macros and oh yeah, TONS of software (like those music lighting keys that turns on and off when playing music). Beat that tarantula HAH!

foobar i have no idea since i am din use foobar that frequently...

The USB on G15 is only USB1.1, and only one USB to power the LCD and lightning, so it is quite normal LOL

For the Media buttons, WMP can be use instantly after installing the driver.. For others players such as Winamp, u nid to find the driver urself and install it and enable the feature.. For foobar, nvr heard of it so i dun kno.. about the pendrive, as said by littlelinnet it is USB 1.1 which does not provide enuff power to the pendrive and i do not recommend using it as well.. =)

1) i clean my G15 by just using a wet cloth...
2) i think the kb fading means the silver color on the G15 that will fade.. mine fade a bit alr, paint came off. = ="

1) G15 - Winamp
Go to WinAmp preference..
Preferences > Global Hotkeys. Enabled it and hit the Restore Defaults.

2) Consult ur manual..
usb which drain more power cannot use on it..
less power like joystick can..
but i can use it if i plug usb hub.. so can use thumbdrive but 1.1 usb transfer rate..

now i regret not buying the 1st batch of G15... Almost all 1st batch of Logitech product's paint job won fade... even the Easy Keyboard Deluxe(i tried scratching it and it won fall even wif scratches )... my boss has 1 and using it for the admin PC of the shop...

Your high or something? The LATEST manufactured keyboard that doesn't have this problem. Go read at logitech forum before you post la aiyo ;

PS: Fuiyo this keyboard have so many problem. The forum is full with problems (GAWD O_O). What a pain in the bump to buy things this expensive and getting backlash with problems.

Im opting for Reclusa now. G15 is just too expensive. I want something that is solid and have backlight. I like Tarantula design too bad it dont have backlight.

In GameAxis, they said Reclusa is selling for RM269.. i got my G15 for RM270... price difference a bit only.. got to hunt the price urself

I wish am in Malaysia. Im way out from Malaysia and the cheaper (like alot) i can have is reclusa than G15. I could have cheaper G15 but that might be a 2nd hand one.

Added on July 12, 2007, 6:47 pmSeen some review, i like g15 better now. The only problem is my keyboard slider (my table) is right below the table surface. So i might not have the advantage of using the LCD. hhmmm i heard reclusa isnt that bad but still have lots of room to improve. What do u guys suggest?

Let me know if u need to see the desk setup if ur dont understand what I was talking about the keyboard slider.

keyboard slider is always uncomfortable. lol...well, at least from those that i've seen. I recommend? G15. yeah, tons of complains and such. but so far, I find logitech support much better and havent heard of any major issues on the G15 other than the color thingy.

same goes for other products, they will have loads of complains. Head over to razerblueprints.net or microsoft hardware forums, you will know what i mean. hehe...
