Been a while since I've talked in this thread...but I saw talk of more comparison between keyboards regarding performance and "bling".  If you are not wanting top performance but want a fancy show off keyboard, I've seen a few that use imaged keys and complete underlighting.  With the Razer Tarantula, it is plugging into 2 usb ports for as much power as it needs, every key on its own engine for hyper fast response and anti-ghosting.  10 keys at a time and immediate response (which I have noticed a difference from my last keyboard and my g/f's current keyboard) is far more important to me than fancy lights.  This thing has a 2port usb hub as well to plug in flash drives or what have you, and between that and all the engine's, memory, its just not possible to have all that and a fully backlit keyboard.  As far as "bling" on the tarantula:  I find myself just stairing at the razer logo fading in and out, its awesome.  I replaced the L1-L5 and R1-R5 keys with the FPS themed keys that light up more.

After using it a few weeks now, typing on it just feels amazing.  I cannot go back to a normal keyboard now.  I occasionally switch with my g/f's computer and use a microsoft keyboard that is not for gaming.  Has no anti-ghosting, I cannot even angle-jump on WoW, and just does not feel as good.

Thats right, 10 keys woot.  Not sure the conversion but I got the Tarantula for $100 USD.

i think the G11 has everything the G15 has....only it doesnt have the LCD.

but the price difference between the 2 is so little...so i think the g15 would be a better bang for the buck.

looks like transformers. haha...it is actually 18 macros because the 3 M buttons still there. should be more than enough.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but we have 3 Reclusa's here in my office.
I used it, but swapped back to an old IBM keyboard

I like the touch, but it just felt too d**n big..... The macro's were nice, but hard to reach the other ones. Oh, and I really find that big piece of plastic at the top a waste of space.

Besides..... I like the old skool clakety clack sound when I type

so how do u feel bout the keyboard? me and others' opinion on G15 were not that far from fact eh?

Just wondering here right, whats the difference that you feel when switching from normal keyboard to this gaming keyboard here? Is it worthy of a change for the price point that you are paying?

i think because the output of this keyboard is only USB 1.1 so some thumbdrive might not work or not operating in full usb 2.0 speed.

Saitek Eclipse II has 3 different colours (blue, red, purple) and a dimmer switch so you can control the brightness. Compared with the G15 and the Reclusa, I think I like the feel of the keys on the Eclipse II slightly more than the feel on the G15, and that in turn over the Reclusa, but only by a small margin. I like the extra buttons on the G15 but I am still hitting G1 instead of ESC and G16 instead of CTRL all the time

So far I haven't had much use of the Reclusa since I just got that yesterday for the rig I built for my gf, I'm sticking to the G15 for my main rig, and the Eclipse II is temporarily being used to help me setup my HTPC.
