I don't think so bro. Reliable sources told me that the word "Computer" in the Dept of ECE means that they are focusing on communication and control systems, and robotics.

They have nothing to do with Computer Science or IT. Perhaps you can check out this website.

But I am very sure the School of Computing do have Security-related research under Computer Science. Check out this website.

A Malaysian friend of mine is interested to apply for a PhD position in the Dept of Computer Science.

It is stated in the SoC website that international applicants have to submit a GRE test score along with the application.

He has never sat for any GRE exams (or any other English exams, for that matter).  However, the university that he graduated from uses English as the medium of instruction.

Can he be exempted from submitting a GRE test score together with his application?

Yup, it's stated in their admission requirement that international applicants have to submit GRE score.

But it is always best to check with the admission office about this issue.

I have sent an email to the School of Computing about this query and see what they have to respond.

Hi, I'm applying for universities using my forecast A-Level's results (sitting for A2 exams in June this year) but the NUS page states that SAT is required D: (I also applied for NTU which doesn't require so). Does that put NUS out of my university options? Any light on this?

1st Master: 3.44
2nd Master : 3.87 (Expected to get 3.89 or 3.90 by the end of May/June 2014)

My degree is above 3 but so so only.

Me, me~ but if you want to scam the funds, its not legal. You are not the first to think of this. There are fine prints in place for this kind of scam already.

Looking for cheap labour? You need to apply through the department. Students signed something not to work without approval.

PGPR mostly for undergraduate. Share common bathroom . Try to look at the new U town lo. I saw new 2-3 blocks post grad hostel flyers last year.
