It's an international issue and we are talking about deep sea waters here.. Proper protocols need to be followed to avoid technical & human error.. Honestly, not an easy undertaking. So while the timeliness is unfavorable, need to cut them some slack.

So many things if you mean android box, I mainly use it for streaming iptv via Netflix,kodi, iflix, astro on the go etc
U can play games as well, my minix x8 plus able to play games like asphalt but don't expect other big games where u need proper player like ps4.
I've seen people use torrent via android box but I haven't tried myself..

*Games (get a supported game pad)... Some android games are optimized for usage with game pads. Example, the already mentioned Asphalt 8, then Shadowgun, Dead Trigger, Riptide, & Modern Combat.
*Torrents (use external storage).
*Documents processing on the big screen.
*Internet browsing.
*Makeshift NAS.
*Home/Neighbor surveillance..
*Video chat/conference, etc..

That's about all I can remember atm ... Mostly, it's an entertainment device, usually for the living room.. If you can think it and android can, you can do it.

this can be easily done.

just install the torrent app, set the path to save in ext hdd, whatever folder u wish.

it is just as fast as on a pc.

but like all android apps, they are "less complete" in options compared to a full one on pc.

if u can afford it, look for 2/16gb, octa core 5.x lollipop.


note... it is NOT always about the box. it is about YOU willing to learn how to use it well AND the continuous (meaning not one time but many times) support u get from seller and user forums. by itself, any box is of no use at all to a beginner.

in all my searching, there is no stable reliable apk for this bundle.

maybe msians are not very good at making such apks or the demand is low, nobody cares.

but... can fall back on astro or hypptv or terrestrial broadcast.

Pretty much what AVFAN has already mentioned.. These come free with hypptv, then there's the Hypptv Everywhere app, so not many go searching for external sources. You could try searching the Google Play Store for such an app.. A few years back, I remember there being a bunch of apps that allowed such.. Might get lucky with one or 2..

I think i need to upgrade mine. Im using 5mbps and sometime it will lag. Tested on 30mbps connection (parent house) everything is smooth.

if you intend to use kodi, better get box with 8/16g memory. definately xioami box may not be able to cater for Kodi. but for basis viewing, get anyting within your budget.
