I had installed UR strut bar, this is my review on 3 months usage so far

Pros: Handling and stability improved. Good combination with the already installed stock stabilizer bar behind on every Alza by P2. 130kmh stable like forte. 130kmh above noob stock tyre face showing in - noisy and less gripping ability on Synergy M5, you will more likely stay below 130 for cruising. Car body and steering is more solid feel. Car is more rigid and can improved slightly brake performance (not too significant) due to reduce of body roll.

Cons: Steering is became more sensitive. If road is straight and your alignment is out abit, here comes the cons, you need more little effort compared to no strut bar to keep align the steering straight.
Price: 120 (Included install)

Misc:
I went Gua Musang go and back from kl today(terrible jam), go and back 15+ new alza spotted. Very hot car now, with myvi price get extra space. My support to this car again is well worth -best of the price for mini mpv.
Exp: 1) With 4 pax inside overtake trailer or lorry, revv like 1.3 1st gen Myvi.
2) Ueven road like sea wave pattern road, get your seat belt tighten you will be a kangaroo. I'm thinking spring
buffer will solve this?

More or less is like this i can share. smile.gif

I won't call that cons... Now that you have UR bar installed, get grippy tyres like Michelin PS3, then you can throw your Alza on every corners you can find with confidence... By the way, does that UR bar reduce vibrations and harshness...? I never install those bars, instead I foamed the chassis, so I get less vibrations and harshness, at the same time improve handling, whack corners and potholes with confidence... Usually I cruise 140kph avg steady...

But one thing I hate cruising on the Alza is due to the 4 speeder. 140kph goes around 3.5k rpm, noisy engine like strangling the chicken while forcing it to chicken-run around...

i saw some quoting few hundred only.. there's 7" to 9". But i think the problem is slow cpu speed, meaning after selecting, it might take a few seconds to react, like those old gps.

i prefer auto foam, lower noise all round, stiff all round chasis, but of course super duper expensive.

Ultra racing is a good way to be on budget. i guess with the buffer the after shock from the suspension, or rebound from it is less prominent if u add it and cornering dips are lesser also. however it doesnt solve noise issue. however still way cheaper if you add both up. thumbup.gif

many on mudah these days, complete with paint and rubber lining, just need travel lor. cheap ma.

bigger rim for? gaya? i feel if gaya only if you sit most of the time alone. cause if not, everyone suffers sitting in your car. Cause, thinner tyres(low profile) will cause a very bumpy ride and noisy also. Underpower, cause rim is significantly larger and heavy unless you are very rich to buy original light weight rims that will bengkok if you ter masuk a pothole. RM 70++ per piece to un-bengkok it.

980 for the underpart chassis lor...

A, B, C, and D pillar separate charges... 300 per pair of pillars... Yes KL Auto is pricey... But that was the only one I knew of at that time (say 3 years ago) before other competitors started sprouting...

i see... so the old gearbox is bigger in size, or the new ones? about the gear ratio, probably they tweak the 1,2,3 gear ratio (maybe), as the rpm for 100km/h drive was still in the region of 2.5-3k rpm, which i presume it's still the old 2750rpm. Anyway, it's do look different from the myvi gearbox. If i not mistaken, old alza use the same gearbox as myvi's.

Can't ask for more at the end it's perodua. Guess is overall better than proton quality.

Would like to request for suggestion/advice on replacing the stock tyre to safer choice. I could see that most of you prefer Yokohama/Continental...How about GOODYEAR? I kind of trust this brand and it actually saved my life before.
