Perodua should at least source a 5sp AT for the Alza and MyVi... 4sp is ancient considering most manufacturers are into 5 or even 6sp

the pairing between gearbox & engine is important, the engine tuning and the gear ratio tuning is the determine factor. good engine tuning + good gearbox ratio =  good performance; good engine tuning + sucks gear ratio = imperfection. Nothing is perfect and it always ties back to what you desired (torque? top speed? FC?)

New Alza using iridium plug? Meaning can last for 100k?

1. Just get SE, standart vs SE worth more than 4k i think...
2. Alza very hot now, hard to find SA to give more discount.
3. Cimb gave me 2.90 loan submit on 6th May for full loan Alza Advanced Version.
Maybank 3.15, rhb 2.90 submit on 2nd June, 90% loan for premium suprima S.

One of the SC in Selayang offer RM1K discount (since I don't want all their free gift) for Standard version.

i got 1.8k discount with standard stuff like petrol and payung FOC , but my interest rate is 3.15%maybank
haiyo but wait time for me is somewhere around 2.5mths, just called P2 callcareline. if they take longer i can consider my uncle's camry liow.

what do you guys think? new alza (able to afford) or 06 camry 2.4 fullspec (maintenance and petrol concerns) only can buy in 2015 cause my uncle is waiting for number plate to arrive, melaka slow.

One of my consideration b4 cancel the alza bcos new alza start to losing it qc....u may check at myperodua fb page for owner complaint...
2nd bcos SA told alza stock no prob, can get car within a week after sign agreement, so i cancel after he failed to deliver in 3weeks.
But to choose 06 2.4camry also not a good choice....

A good SA is very important, if you all want i can intro you mine, within 2 weeks done from loan to delivery. PBB 2.93%.

To own a MPV with 60k , except alza dont have any other choice. My supports on alza are below:
1) Cheap and big space
2) Cant found any new mpv in this price
3) 3yrs free engine oil and labour charge
4) 5 yrs dabao still got buyers, not a cold market car
5) Service fee cheap
6) Minor issue every car sure got even a Alphard - rattiling sound same sure got for mpv.
7) FC is more than myvi just abit more not significant like Forte or RIO.
8) Tall and very good visibility. Not like Forte and Rio, i'm sinking inside when drive poor visiblity and many blind spot.

My Cons on Alza:
1) Rattling sound from behind, need time find out but i'm lazy so i can tahan, still new not prominent the sound.
2) Brake pad is poor, brake press height level can be adjusted.
3) Bumpy absorber - change better absorber when is kong
4) Stock tyre less grip and noisy
5) Alternator kick in too frequent, light dim when it kick in.
5) Still finding.......

Engine performance:
0-5000km -  Lack of power can be felt. After 2nd oil change, smooth and responsive.

NVH:
Better than previous gen alza due to added sound insulator for this new facelift alza. Engine sound 3K above sound only start noticeable.

Conclusion: Still the same, i buy this car is because of price and worthiness. Alza SE Ivory White owner 3 months here is recommended for a buy. Previous car: 1st Myvi, 2nd Forte, current Alza. Hope my review can help you all.
