If your eyesight is good then for front door windows & rear windscreen at VLT20. If eyesight not so good then VLT30. As you need to view side/rear mirrors through those windows. IMO rear door windows can go as dark as you like.

Anybody have tried this particular company and products? Seems like they are offering similar specs to Hamel film.

I just installed Totalgard Ceramic Plus series 2 weeks back and this series will not have issue with smart tag. SA advised for Infusion series; need to wind down the window for smart tag.

Only down side is their installation environment is not air cond but just under the shade. Plus they subcon the job to outsider so depending on their skill. This was also mentioned by another forumer.

Ceramic Plus is between Infusion and Infusion Pro, right ?
I just whatsapp 1 of the sales person.

He told me following.
Ceramic Plus IRR90-95%
Infusion IRR70-80%
Infusion Pro IRR95-99%

Yes price in between too lol.

Infusion Pro is a reflective tint. I choose a ceramic tint as I've had problems with my previous reflective tint.

i take Infusion Pro cz of IRR at 99%. This what they give me back then. Price at rm900 is the factor I choose this. Infusion Pro N6 for windscreen, front window, N3 for rear + sunroof

So, what you all chosen ?
- Front screen VLT 70% (minimum)
- Front side windows VLT 50% (minimum)

How about following? I thinking 50% for below as well because I don't want JPJ to disturb and my eyesight at night not so good. However, they told performance may be not ideal if I choosing VLT 50% for Ceramic Plus.
- Side windows for Back
- Rear windscreen

Yes those are JPJ compliance for front. Go VLT30 for rear windscreen if eyesight not so good. For rear doors go VLT20 or below.

If you want to go lower VLT for front then I suggest doing front door windows to VLT30 too. Leave front windscreen at VLT70 as it is more troublesome to re-do this compared to side windows in the event that you want to be JPJ compliant down the road.

I was verbally told it was 5 years warranty only and I believe its a limited warranty which is up to their discretion depending on the issue.

We aren't like the first world countries where they establish proper consumer rights so you won't get it in black and white to what extent that you can claim for your warranty for any of the services or products here.

Warranty is a compulsory document for future claim/dispute either in softcopy/hardcopy. Even if you go tribunal consumer, you will need that to prove your claim.

Salesman normally can promise everything including lifetime warranty
So what if the salesman resigned? What if they damage your car during installation? That is just too risky for me to proceed even you have the word guarantee.

I am commenting on supplier/manufacturer called TOTAL GARD that basically everyone is asking about it. Based on the info provided, they don't even have proper installation bay and outsource technician to do the installation which is not a proper way of doing business.

THINK ABOUT IT where they supply the product in the market since they don't have own proper brand

Thinking of getting an electric car soon. What would be the best performing car tint whilst keeping within the law.

Since it’s electric, I figure heat rejection is the most important factor, to reduce the load on the aircon.

They give their top of their tint product at less than rm1k, with spec sheet that is good, IRR, TSER proven with 3M meter. Be it with another brand, local or known brand, prepare to pay at rm2k at least for top spec. I too sceptical at first when to install it, but proceed to try due to price factor, install the product at their factory, not as in accessories shop etc.

For my usage of 9 months with daily parking under sun, it work great. Will check if it degrade as cheap tint in future.
