QUOTE(davidcolonies @ Aug 12 2014, 10:52 AM) How do sifus here think about Raytech CS 75 Series?? Is the heat rejection is good ? Btw wat the different between IRR (%) and TSER (%) ? As i search in net, both was heat rejection thing. Hi davidcolonies, TSER = Total Solar Energy Rejection IRR= Infrared Rejection Rate TSER is a more accurate reading to measure the heat rejection because it takes in a few parameters into consideration. Whereas IRR just takes amount of Infrared rejected into account. Infrared is the main component from the invisible sunlight that contributes to heat. That's why most of the window films are developed in a way to cut down the infrared transmitted. The more infrared the film blocks, the better comfort it is. Hope my answer helps

QUOTE(emonemo @ Aug 11 2014, 06:09 PM) thanks enochtan, lord gitsy and shaguarbb for replying, i feel relieved now is there anything i can do to help the film cure, e.g. parking in the sun? and to confirm, is it ok to wind down the windows during the cure period? also, earlier in this thread a few people were asking how to verify that the tint used on the car is really the brand we wanted. shaguarbb, is there any way to tell that a tint film is a huper one? thanks again! You can check the review of the shop first and must go to direct Authorized Dealer or Branch. I can't really teach you how to verify the film after tint but you can check the water mark on the film and color before tint. Smart Window will send Official warranty card to you with in 1 -2 months.

CAUTIONS!!! Recently we received complaint and record regarding somebody are trying to PM secretly our customers by saying he is a agent who represent "multi-brand" of window film, including RAYTECH. After investigation, Raytech do not authorize this guy to sell Raytech products. According to our customer feedback, this guy try to jeopardize Raytech brand and pushing our customer to another cap Ayam brand. I think this is totally wrong way of marketing method, and it is kind of stealing customer strategy. Lowyat Forum is a open for public sharing thought and promoting business and brand. Let the forum being healthy and please stop this nonsense. Warm message to all Lowyat Forum member, please approach genuine dealer that marketing and selling for that exactly brand.1. Do not being cheated by those so called "multi-brand" advisor. These people actually only selling one of the brand, so there will very bias and mislead you to one of tinting brand that he selling. It is because in window film business, there are no multi-brand.
2. We noticed what those fake dealers do is when somebody inquiry products in Raytech thread, those fake dealers come and pm the customers personally by offering cheaper price with fake products or another brand products.
3. Do not trust on those fake dealers, switch brand in between. Example, one dealer is promoting one brand let's say Raytech, from PM he push you to another tinting brand. This means he using Raytech as a bail to another brand.
4. Be aware of fake product. Some dealers offer very low price for some good brand, but they actually swap fake product to you. For Raytech Tinting, during installation you will notice Raytech original product come with Raytech logo on the film itself. This post has been edited by Lord Gitsy: Aug 14 2014, 11:18 AM

Which model did you choose? Make sure you verify and avoid any house brand. It's very normal to feel hot if you Park your car under the hot sun for more than 2hour. However, with a good tint, the heat should cool of quickly after you switch on the air cond.

If TSER, Don't think any solar film that can apply on automotive can achieve 87% If IR, it just infrared figure. For heat rejection you need to look at the TSER (total solar energy rejected) for more accurate measurement.

Sit in my colleague's Vios two days ago and find his tint works pretty well against hot sun spell. When asked , I was told his Vios tinted with a tint brand call Windshield / Winshield / Wingshield ( don't know how it spells ) which I never heard before . And price seem pretty reasonable RM 1.6 k against those big brand. Any one use that before ? any sign of fading off 6 months or so ?
