QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Aug 20 2015, 07:18 PM) How is food hunt nearby..chinese restaurants suitable for family dinner ?dengkil a lot right..not far from cyber 1) 10 mins drive to Dengkil, couple of chinese foods restaurants2) Equine Park Bak Kut Teh Additional for those non-MMU student : If anyone fancy midnight supper or very early breakfast before work, theres a chicken rice stall in Dengkil which operates from home starting from 4am - 9-10am. They sell chicken rice, fried mee & meehon and plenty of dishes. You can even bring your own ingredient and the uncle can further process your ingredient. The stall is located in a kampung housing area after Dengkil's Petronas station. Also if you wish to have a short weekend getaway you can always travel to Sg Pelek & Tanjung Sepat for seafood & Pao! |

QUOTE(CK15 @ Aug 20 2015, 08:06 PM) The last time I went there was one year back, not sure if it's still operating but it has been there for many years to cater students who go to school early and uncle uncle around the area. After Personas, make a sharp left turn at a small road. Turn left ad u will see first junction on ur right immediately, do not take the turn until u see the 2nd junction then turn right. The stall is open in front of the yard of the uncle's house. It's quite famous among MMU students because you know, students eat at odd hours. |

QUOTE(henchman @ Aug 20 2015, 03:13 PM) Thanks for the feedback bro, really appreciate your input. Not so keen on high density life style but should not be a desert as well. D'pulze seems good enough for me, can catch movies once in while, enough shop lots. Im fine with the lifestyle there. Kinda more worried about disturbance and crime rate there. I just started to notice these kinda incidents lately, perhaps maybe because only now im staying longer in cyber after work for leisure, before this after work straight away cabut. So wanted to hear from people who are really staying there. More input please guys, it might safe 3 life here(including my baby) QUOTE(CK15 @ Aug 20 2015, 06:57 PM) Living in CBJ many years. I'm happy with environment and my loved one from initial complaining to refuse to move elsewhere. Same like bro CK15, I've been living in CBJ for years already. Been from "live study play" to "live work play" at this same place since I move here to study years back. Really enjoy the calm and peaceful life here. Rather than stuck in the jam after work, I drive home in breeze We normally home cook, and occasionally having dinner in CBJ. We don't have issue #1 as we hardly there. Same to issue #2, we avoid certain groups' frequent patrolling areas. As mentioned, choose the correct areas. So far I have not encountered any disturbance from foreigners and other crime related situations *touch wood* As for food choices, it's getting more and more so no worries. But don't expect chinese stalls or warung melayu to be opened here la, the lowest range of food u can get here is economic rice and mamak. U can easily find mid to high range food in CBJ. |

QUOTE(Cabinda @ Aug 16 2015, 10:01 PM) accept the fact dude, if its that wise in pricing, shld have been long time sold off... yes, there are rich who dont mind putting money there... every investment never say good or bad, only worth or not to invest nia... Apples and Oranges comparisons. Then why don't we compare Cyberjaya's property prices with the more expensive ones? If Infrastructure and surrounding wise Semenyih is on par with Cyberjaya then no doubt Cyberjaya is expensive, but Semenyih is not Cyberjaya. And please don't get me started on the location.look at MCT, UEM, SPS, S.Haruman, MS, all are struggling selling... even phase 1 still have units available, the reason, is loan rejected units/not so good fengshui/facing units/bla bla bla... but semenyih ppl queuing at 5am for ballot... SEH, EM doesnt lose to SEG,SH,GR... if SEG=BMW, SEH=Mercedes... wuahhaha.. if u wanna compare by using car.. Copied from the recent iPhone advertising, 'If it's not iPhone, it's not an iPhone.' Think you get what I mean. |

QUOTE(neonikson1 @ Aug 16 2015, 11:53 PM) Look, our argument was Cyberjaya is not picking up after 20 years of development, the main reason is no one wants to stay there with the students or people can't afford to stay at the landed property there. Before 2010/2011, how many residential housing are available for people to stay here? Only very few limited options like Cyberia, D'Melor, etc. And during that time it was never meant to be a residential area. No one is saying that Cyberjaya is a bad place. BUt you are right, willing buyer willing seller, that's why most people work in Cyber work live elsewhere. So the comparison is made based on the above arguement. The price point of Cyberjaya made it impossible to succeed. We should to stay focus on the discussion. The rapid residential development has merely started a few years back even after project launching it takes time to build and it takes time for people to move in as well. Cyberjaya not picking up? Well, obviously everyone has their own criteria and definition. But after staying in Cyberjaya for 15 months, it picked up WAY FASTER than I expected it to be. I think the day that I will hate living in Cyberjaya might come sooner than I expected as well, lol. |

QUOTE(Tsuto @ Aug 17 2015, 01:15 AM) Brother, happy to discuss. It is obviously you have missed the boat for Cyberjaya... Cyberjaya property development is always in front of Semenyih. There were RM 700K in cyberjaya before, you missed it, and of course at the current price, you have to invest elsewhere further. People need to understand why developer cannot reduce the price for development in Cyberjaya. Cyberjaya already have some infrastructure in place, while Semenyih doesnt. And the developer in cyberjaya buying land from another master developer (land cost is higher), while in Semenyih They bought over agriculture/kampung land, their cost is lower. You need to understand. Ditto. And, would you mind to let us know why you don't choose Semenyih/Canal City? There are 700K ++ landed double storey there. When people provide their opinion they need to give some valid reason instead of keep saying people dont accept negative criticism. It just show who are the person that dont accept people's opinion, instead keep asking people to accept his. If wana compare, please list down comparison apple to apple, property type/size/price/everything.... instead of keep saying 700K in Semenyih vs > 1 mln in Cyberjaya. Very obvious it is just comparing price and disregard everything else.. I asked why eco sanctuary and eco majestic price is different why no one answer me? QUOTE(neonikson1 @ Aug 17 2015, 01:25 AM) Yes i know i have missed the boat, but like i said, when it was RM700k that time few people can accept living pass the toll gate. I am just an average joe, i am sure many are like me. that's why even when Cyber was cheap or affordable but few takers. No the price has gone so high it is even harder for it to attract buyers. I guess we are back to square one. Haha, spot on! But it is really none of my business, i don't live in Cyber (even though i would love to), and i guess the people living in Cyber also would like to keep it exclusive. So we better stay out of cyber. I can't comment on eco sanctuary coz i didn't survey that project at all. Again the price point is over my level of interest. Another thing is i would rather stay in Kajang semenyih area than Shah Alam area. Just a personal preference. |

QUOTE(Aztec @ Aug 17 2015, 11:28 AM) I have a budget of around RM350,000 and looking for a self stay place in Cyberjaya. Been looking at rental prices and honestly better for me to buy as I enjoy living here. The Place looks nice from the outside, and like you say the location would be very convenient in the near future. It's just that the place is a little cramped because it is a studio size duplex. But if you like it enough I think it is a pretty good choice because the MRT station and CCC might bring the price up even more.Any good suggestions? Thinking of the Place as it would be near to the proposed MRT station and CCC next time. If not this then which Condo is going to VP soon? As my tenancy at DPulze ends next month.. |

QUOTE(Aztec @ Aug 18 2015, 09:42 AM) u driving 280km/h? lol..im usually doing 140-160 also take around 40mins wor.. From the mex toll to kuchai interchange if I'm driving 140-160km/h it will take me 7-8mins MAX. 20mins to Jalan Tun Razak is totally possible. Driving 110km/h can also reach jalan tun razak in 25-30mins. If u drive 140-160km/h and takes 40 mins to reach then something must be wrong. the Arc.. btw I have found a house to rent already..walking distance from Dpulze.. D'Melor Still gonna hold back and top up my bullets first for a 500k place.. |
