Guys, im using UMobile u28 postpaid now.

How to check free SMS balance? and how much I've been charged for calls I made?

Try to dial *118#3,1,3

Can you list down any and all extra charges like Service tax, GST, fee for paper bill, others, etc. and their amount.

I pay more than RM88 for my previous Dg Postpaid 88 so wondering if this is the same

u88 = RM88 + 6%
u58 = RM58 + 6%


that is if you do not exceed the free call/sms given.

oh, first bill will be a bit expensive as it will charge u stamp duty...standard for all the telco, nothing to complaint.

i use to u58 , my bill hardly reach rm80, data enough for me but i call more then the free 200min given.

nope it is not available , postpaid can't check SMS balance, only can check ur DATA balance with *118*2*3#

ok every1, 1st BILL u subscribe Umobile POSTPAID contain belows

new numbers contain 1 month deposit of plan fee, U28= RM 28, U58= RM 58, MNP then no need
1. PRO rated, 1st bill of the plan, example : 1st december subscribe , plan fee= RM 28 , 31st dec then 1days/31days *28

2. first bill stamp duty = RM 10

3. RM 3 itemized bill, FOC if choose E-BILLING without PAPER BILL

4. 6% of total bill

so a person who get a new number with U- mobile on 1st december WITHOUT ANY CALLs and EXTRA SMS
the bill amount is = (RM 28 deposit + RM 28 plan fee + RM 3 +RM 10)+6%
=73.14
if MNP then 43.46

on 31st december = (RM28/31 + 28 +3 +10)+6%

2nd month is only (RM 28 + 3 )+6% =32.86
if E-billing = 28+6% =29.68 (cheapest 1gb data + 300 sms plan with this calculation)

So, can anyone tell me why Umobile has such a better connection than P1? Is it because there are not many users in Umobile compare to P1?

Different technology la, p one is using wimax
And the coverage of p1 is weaker due to less signal tower too

free 500mb promo is until 31dec13 only rite? should renew yesterday. rugi liao.

What is off peak quota means? Just found it when I am checking my Umobile's broadband quota.

Does this mean I have 10mb quota technically? or it was the same 5 GB, except it just a list to show that I am using mobile at off peak time?

if u subscribe to the mb68 package (5 + 5gb) for rm68.. 5 gb u can use anytime. and the other 5gb can be used during off peak only, 2am - 8am.. if u online from 8am till 1.59am, they will deduct the data from the primary 5gb.. and u online from 2am till 8am, they will deduct tha data used from the off peak free data, which is also 5gb..

u can understand?

in simple word,
5gb can be used from 8am-2am.. if u used all 5gb, ur speed will be reduced to 64kbps. but u can online with hi speed during 2am - 8am coz u still have the off peak free data.
5gb off peak free data only can be used from 2am - 8am..

so total 10gb lo..

hi bro. need help. i had subscribed udevice98 and took note 3 on Nov. been charge rm1609 and RM480 upon sign up. and now monthly bill is 98 monthy fee + 48 access fee =145++. No extra usage. can advice whats the 48 access fee? why been charged to credit card so much at beginning and need to pay so much for monthly fee? is there something wrong?

when u subscribe it ?

i believe the RM 98 is 1st month deposit, and RM 48 something is your 1st month prorated bill

and next 24 months your bill amount should be start with 98-20 (rebate from 480 u paid upfront)

end Oct/early Nov. need to check. really? how to pay via you. pm me. NO. the 1st month deposit been charged previous month. the previous month been charge 98x2 +48 access. this month 98+48. i m totally confuse now. switch from celxxx. thanks

the upfront 480 is for the 20 rebate?. then the 20 rebate is not consider rebate liao. need more clarification before go to SC this weekend.

is it ok to subscribe a new u28 postpaid to try out 1-2 months then only MNP the actual phone number by another new package/existing package?
