Wow...quite expensive...i mean, i just bought the umobile broadband (wasted money), and it doesn't have wi-fi function is pretty much turned me off. Spending another Rm200 for the same umobile connection is really taxing for me.

nope, not the simcard... you can put your current modem on them... all have usb port. Tp-link will become your WIfi Hotspot.

Anyone here is umobile user at shah alam? near to uitm? Im an ex umobile user, but mnp to the new hotlink free internet. But after some time, I think I kinda miss umobile. I mnp to hotlink before this was because the internet line here at shah alam was very bad. I couldnt even send whatsapp in certain times. So if the problem is fixed at shah alam, i think i would definately migrate back to umobile. Can anyone from shah alam respond. Thanks.

Oh ya, there is something I want to know about the Umobile broadband prepaid plans.

Let's say that if I uploaded Rm128 plan and get 20GB Quota for 30 days, and I spent all the quota within 15 days, so if I reload another Rm128, what will happens? Will I get the 20GB quota or I need to wait for 30 days expiration?

No, you will need to wait until quota expiration. You are only eligible to purchase booster until it's next renewal.

So, I guess that reload only works for mobile plan (Rm28 for 500mb and free minute calls) then? Because I did renew the mobile plan prepaid plan for my smartphone in same month.

What a pity...In the end, I still have to conserve when it comes to quota usage for the broadband plan.

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible if the area as such inside uitm makes umobile slow? because theres a lot of students making it congested ?

can only buy booster plan for 3 day use. which i think a bit costly...as forumer said, try get another sim, but i actually recommend you get a cheaper sim from other telco like celcom 1M plan pack orange /biru ( dono which is which) that got unlimited data i think

Too bad that I am not from KL, and I assumed you were from KL?

Another question, since I bought the Umobile modem that comes with 5GB quota together few days ago, is it possible for me to activate the 20GB broadband once I finished the free 5GB ( i already used up 2gb) or I really need to wait for 30 days?

Currently, I indeed have 2 Umobile sim card (one for my smartphone and another came together with the purchased modem).

Rm100 is indeed cheap. So how am I supposed to deal with you? Give me some of the option to consider.

So, once i top up to get 20gb package, I can't longer to top up until the due date (30 days)?

yup very slow until barely load a page, only support very basic email and whatsapp, don't expect too much with that speed especially you are in some congested area like puchong and peak hour cool2.gif
